Yeah no tekken was a big disappointment. It just sucks how exclusive they always are with these hand pick games and they're unwilling to give games like DOA a shot.

And then add in the fact Nintendo is being a bitch and EVO wants melee and even has a spot for it on the list, this was easily the most disappointing lineup ever...
Anyway, in terms of "wanting to do something" I doubt we'll get anything that great. Probably the Ryu and Momiji yaiba outfits that were "only" for the Yaiba collector's edition being brought on consoles 2 months down the road with each being only $2.

They should have given DOA5U a shot. It just makes me go back to the poll where DOA5U was not even in the lead for Best Update; but then, the community came together and earned the game the top spot. Not to mention, it was #3 on that poll for Fighting Game of the Year. So the community is there and if they did add it to the EVO line up, I'm sure top players and more would fly out for it.

The weird thing is when I talked to people on twitch tonight it sounds like most people are okay with DOA but they feel like not enough people know about it or know how good of a fighter it is. So a lot of people have accepted it as a good fighting game but w/o the numbers it doesn't look like DOA is being added anytime soon.
More than likely Microsoft threw some money at the EVO tournament organizers to get KI into EVO to help promote Xbox One.
That seems to be the general attitude with supporters of the series. Yes, we know it's a good game beyond the sex appeal, but it does get tiring having to defend the title just because of the sex appeal. At least DOA5U shows up at other local tournaments.

DOA5U not being at Evo is hugely disappointing. The game fully deserve to be in the line up. Why the heck is Injustice or even SSBM in there??? That's just friggen Stupid and biased!!

EVO is turning into a bigger joke every passing year. I heard the same bullshit excuse last year as to why SFxTK was in when no one gave two shit about that game. DOA getting in EVO? Yeah maybe in year 4028 when everyone is already long dead.

I have to ask about SSBM also, considering the issues with Nintendo. But both games have respectably large communities.
I always thought Tina should have a brunette hair option. She looks good with brunette hair in this PhotoShop job.

Im happy for TN, as it sounds like a good number and hopefully the game makes a lot of money for them, but it also makes me mad at Microsoft (I dont have a PS3).
How much bigger would the DoA5 community be on the 360, if MS had supported the FTP model?

I live in Australia, so unfortunately there are (virtually) NO players on XBL.
I just want to play people with good connections and good attitudes. Skill level (whether higher or lower) is a lesser concern for me.
