Watch that video that was just posted here with cheerleader Nyo. First match the baton starts off in the wrong hand then switches several times throughout the fight.
1:03 it changes when she uses 6K (I think that's the input)
Yeah, I see it now. That's weird. It magically teleports from one hand to the other. I have no idea why they changed it like that. It should just stay in her right hand.

When you select Nyotengu as second player, she hold the fan in her left hand, maybe just for a question of introduction on the selection roster. You can see it even in the selection of characters of the first match in the posted video.
Said this, seems that there is a bug that make switch the hand holding the fan from a match to another (not sure if happens just with the cheerlader outfit).

You're right, the fan switch randomly from an hand to another even during the execution of a single string in the same match.

I start thinking that if Nyo's coming to consoles at the beginning of September then the 4th character will come at the end of October, along with the new Halloween costumes. The last character might come to consoles around Christmas time as at the end of December TN will be celebrating the 1st year of the arcade edition.

Nice prediction, this could be a realistic schedule in a scenario with 5 DLC characters.
Or: There will be no 4th character and instead of a second round of Halloween costumes Nyo Tengu's gimp suit will be given to all the other girls. The Halloween contest clearly showcased the fans preferences.

Or considering her personality, she's probably a Ms. Fanservice self-aware character who does it to make people drop their guard.
Why not add more reason why you shouldn't underestimate a Tengu?

@Mr. Wah made a good observation that it is most likely a track baton (the low-res vids do make it look like an ice cream/popsicle though I agree). And not to take TN's side especially for a copy-paste gym uniform but I had assumed that Nyo was meant to have the appearance of an 18 year old (just b/c 1018 is such an odd age to give her. Why not just 1000?).
Edit: And also as @Vigoorian King just posted in another thread, Nyo has the nurse outfit that the younger girls get (21 and under crew):
Did you see the staff favorites? I think we need to just wait and see which outfits actually become DLC.

I kinda hope Nyo has special dialogue with Gen Fu for ripping Tengus nose off his corpse.

Nyotengu will probably be the best DLC character from my perspective but with the way these new characters have been going (minus P4) I'm actually really looking forward to finding out who the next one is. And a fifth DLC character would be crazy! lol. I just hope one of them is a male.
Nyotengu will be released the 3rd, but when do you think we'll start getting teasers for the next character?

I know the bottom one with the maple leaves was before the patch. The top one I saw prior to the patch but not with the waves around it.
