THE STRONGEST THREAD IN THE WORLD (The LEON Thread)

As short as Leon's movelist is and how simple-minded his combos used to be, I'm REALLY excited to use him again. I went really in-depth with him back in Dimensions, and I got pretty good with him, so I'm happy to see his return and looking forward to training with the strongest man in the world.

Confirmed that his gameplay is as good as always, even more beast, so now I can only think about costumes.
I always go for the red trench coat, but it would be interesting to see the costume he wear in his DOA3 ending. Just for see something new(or semi-new)

What do you guys think?

I definitely like how his pants looks more snug-fit here. It could have been nice but it would be better if we got some sleeveless vest to show off his tattoo.

how many times must clowns be reminded, we know shit about Leon and only gameplay vids of him are from scrubs who have no idea how to play him at a basic level much less utilize potential new doa5u stuff he'll have. so i suggest you calm the down with your assumptions until we get an indepth look on him before spouting your "shitty bayman clone" garbage

Calm down buddy Im just going off by what i've seen in those previous vids. after seeing him in those summer jam streams i will humbly retract my comments since hes looking pretty damn powerful and much different from bayman than i thought.

What im shocked about is how he kept all his sitdown stuns from 4

so far he has these as his standing sitdowns...

33p(high crushes)
8p(second P in 8ppp string is guaranteed)
4p+k(first P in 4p+k,pp string is guaranteed)
pp6p(last hit causes sds)

and like baymans his 3k causes sitdown on crouching opponents so he may have potential to link two sitdowns together too

It just keeps getting better and better for him.

Those are something to be scared of. It won't take very long to figure out a seriously scary set-up out of those. Leon really has come back with a vengeance.

At least in Leon's case, yes. Lol. The move I was thinking of though was 6PPP, which is why I was confused. It wouldn't make any sense for that to cause a sitdown instead of a GB.
I like how Leon is really just flexing and showing off his bicep. The shock wave caused from his flex is actually what inflicts the damage/GB.

at 6:28 it seems to sit down

Hmm. Yes. Perhaps it depends on when you land it. Even so, it's confusing because the video doesn't show a consistent stun.

At 1:28 it simply slams to the ground on Hi Counter Strike. At 1:31, it causes what appears to be the new bound state on Normal Hit, but at 6:28, also on Normal Hit, it causes a sitdown stun.
