Wow... Maybe he meant standbying. You will just get disconnected 100% of the time and lag hurts both ways if you play on a poor connection. Its possible to win really laggy matches. It just takes a really long time because of how slow the game moves. Ive never played a laggy match where I am forced to do nothing or lose control of my character.

I have no idea what he was proposing. I'm not even sure if it's possible (I'm not a tech guy, so I can't say).
Regardless, it seems like a lot of effort just to abuse when I "see a bamf like Akira"

Some modems have a stand by button on them which temporarily cuts off the connection but it isn't long enough to disconnect you, also known as a lag switch. That is what the message was referring to. Some people even splice wires to an actual light switch if their modem doesn't have the stand by button to lag switch in shooters so while you are shooting them, in reality they moved away and shot you so when the connection comes back they teleport and you die instantly.

Well, I don't even see how it applies to a fighter, especially since like DoA literally slows down/freezes when it lags lol. Lag switches really only work in shooters and probably racing games, but in fighters it effects both parties lol.

But ya, thats pretty much what the guy was complaining about. In the end you both had to deal with the lag, so tell him to fuck off.

I think he was angry, because I gave him two rounds of advantage at the start of the combat. Then I win 3 rounds in a row, and get that mail haha.

ok yu have had yrs of practice in yu lag i have t3 connection meaning i hardly ever lag and when i do its never been as bad as yurs and 3 when yu have host connection(which yu had during our fight) the host connection determains the quality of gameplay.

so therefore yu caused the lag that yu have been practincing in since 2009. and yes yu r a noob
