I'm fine with young characters, I like kids(that aren't bratty) but I'm hesitant to bring anouther one in after Marie's creepy reception. and even though I'm pretty positive it would be handled that way with the boy I still would rather avoid that.

All I want is a new male, but they should really make a shota male. I mean, they made Marie rose as a Gothic loli who looks cute , young, small, and underdeveloped, so why not an 18 year old shota who is small, looks underdeveloped, cute, and able to use his size to his advantage as well? I suggested the idea to tecmos Facebook page and twitter

I just thought shota would be new and refined, because Eliot is a pretty boy, ryu is similar to a bishonen, and many of the guys including ryu are muscular to a degree, even Eliot. So why not create a smaller, underdeveloped male who can fight with the larger fighters, like Marie rose? That would make fans of shota fighters practically flock in masses to DOA5U, just like loli fans for Marie rose!

I believe Ryu dropped the bishonen look prior to him getting always masked in DOA5.

Eliot started off with an underdeveloped body (arguably, evident in his DOA4 C4 due to the lack of muscle definition in his abdomen area). It's only now where he's getting muscular like the rest of the guys but still quite petite just as Marie is a petite version of the girls and Eliot was the only male character with an alternate hairstyle and glasses option (before Ein and Leon came) so I suppose he's given more special attention compared to the rest of the guys.

I'm all up for youthful guys anyways, preferably someone who's more cheerful and energetic.

Eliot has been and still is the male counterpart to Marie. You won't see anyone under 18 in DOA again thanks to Sweden's ban of DOAD.

BTW I don't think it's a coincidence that Marie is Swedish. I found it hilarious when they announced her

Yeah, I don't want a ninja either but I can see that is the only way for them to add variety (if they're feeling lazy and uninspired to invest time creating a new male character. :/ )
