Turns out the distributors of Berserk is making a digital comic for Yaiba.

AND OH, WHAT'S THIS? MENTION OF A CROSSOVER WITH MIGHTY NO. 9?

They were mostly joking but, being the creator he is, Inafune did go on to slightly elaborate on it. Kind of like riffing on an idea. Mighty No. 9 would not be able to cross over with any degree of success unless it was played purely for laughs, but I'd still like to see it...

With Yaiba only.

Being a total nut over comic book aesthetics as I am, I'm considering picking this game up. But it's best to skim a couple reviews to get a good idea what I'm paying for. I don't expect it to be Ninja Gaiden quality, so I'm lowering my standards so I don't end up disappointed later.

I'm going to buy it for the laughs. But I expect Yaiba join forces with Ryu at the end, or he's going to get his ass kicked... again.

The only thing I really want to see is a badass cutscene of Ryu fighting without the restraints of gameplay mechanics like Dante does . If I get that I'll be happy everything else is just icing on the cake
