Your "true" ranking/skill level

B+ in current rank, might as well be a D- with my skills and knowledge as a DOA player. Pretty sad, really.

Going with my personal standard that "S" is a "fake rank" and therefore not valid...

I'd put myself at a B-. I only play Mila, and focus on defense and ground game, and due to that playstyle, my pure offense is weak (Not lacking pure offense is even a factor in DOA, lol).

I'd say I stepped up to B+/A- now. Got my fundamentals down and some advance tactics, but at times I fail to apply them. Aggressive is my favorite style of play so I can get in the opponents face throw unsafe moves, sidestep their attempted attack punishment and keep myself in the clear, while also working in frame traps to push towards high damage combos.

I lack at launching despite all of that, and my ability to work underpressure is still lacking because I lock up sometimes. If I'm feeling good... I can do anything I want when I want and if it's a bad choice then that's the only thing holding me back.

My in-game grade in DOA5 is C- and I only need one more ranked victory to bump it up to C. I won't play that one match though because I don't want to keep increasing my fake grade.

Realistically, I'd say I'm E or D.

In DOA4 my in-game grade averaged around C+/B-, but I'd say I was about D+, maybe C-.

Not to be rude, but...why is this a thread...?

Online rank does not define skill, it just demonstrates how long you play the game

This isn't for posting our online ranks. You're supposed to express what you feel your true grade is using the in-game F, E, D, C, B, A, and S grades.

Sometimes I feel like a beginner, sometimes I feel like a novice, sometimes I feel up my Christie doll when I want to get these thoughts out of my mind.

C+ on a good day
C- if im cold
If im hot B
It all depends on how im feeling about my reads,The confidence get when i get a combo/counter or how im managing the situation at hand... there are times where i can do no wrong as long as i process what i got to work with.Others it feels like im attempting to scribe hirogpyphs and thanks to the lag make that upside down. so improvements need to be made...

i'm putting myself back to E. since i started learning stick i've got most offence back, but my block and hold side is still a wreck. :( i've also stuck harder to my main, so my games got very narrow too. its coming on though... i think

Right now I'll give myself an A-

I make bad choices more often than I care to admit.

For example I'll throw out a juggle combo that only works on lightweights on a heavy. I know not to do that but, shit, it happens sometimes when I'm not completely keyed in. Or maybe I'll counter mid on a kick that I I remember being mid from DOA4 but KNOW is a high in DOA5 ( Hayate's :K: at the end of :6::P::K: is now a high kick ) .

Also I lack knowledge on attack levels, whats safe and what isn't when it comes to Koko, Alpha, Sarah and a few others but I think thats mostly everybody at this point right? RIGHT!? TELL ME I'M NOT ALONE HERE GUYS!

Julius...an A minus... give this man a nobel prize for elevated self esteem.
Dont trip man, i have the same trouble with rigs, hayates and zachs beause i dont play them enough and for some reason dont want to go to the lab to learn characters i dont feel like learning animations to just blow up offenses. The dubstep girl in the kimono is easier then the other two for me cause i actually use her on occasion. The other two is through light practice for alpha and second hand knowledge on sarah hense i have difficulties. I think thats applicible to most players on this site.Just collaborating instead of acting a fool will help with that.

I'm saying that I'm an A- so that really means that no one is better than an A - right now because I'm better than all of you.

And collaborating is for people like Lebron James and Robert Griffen the 3rd - I create my own looks and I catch my own passes Junior.
