Hiayah everyone! Long time no see. What is the easiest 2d fighting game to learn? Asking for my lazy brain.

If you're asking about traditional 2D fighting games and you're really just starting out, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo still isn't a bad place to start, imo, but I actually didn't feel like I really learned how to play SF until Killer Instinct Gold's and SFEX+A's tutorials/missions, lol (being older by then also helped).

btw, it's always nice to see your Aya Brea icon pop up again :thumbs up:

Yeah, i got told Street Fighter would be a good way to start. Is Samurai Shodown still a thing? Sorry i have never been interested in 2d fighters before expect guilty gear and kof so my knowledge is 404.
Would you cry if Platinum games worked on a NINJA Gaiden? Would you be mad? What if Team NINJA overlooked it?

No, because if they want to outsource for sure, then who? If I got mad about Platinum working on an NG, that means I'd only be ok with TN working on NG and no one else. Or else what, Soleil? Valhalla? Doubt it'd happen. Platinum might get it wrong, but I have to imagine every other dev out there would do an even worse job of it than them. I wouldn't panic and would wait to see how the game turns out before judging.

@DestructionBomb I'd agree with you about it not mattering after NG3 turned out the way it did, if it wasn't for how their next games like Nioh turned out. I think now their A-team could do a great job now that they've grown as a developer. TN in 2022 isn't the same team as in 2010. But they said they want to outsource, so not point dwelling on that...

Plus, they'd likely have someone like Yasuda overseeing the project, and he wouldn't just tell them "yeah, you guys can turn it into DMC/Bayonetta", lol.

Wow... it's been 18 years since Tekken FIVE *cue old feeling*. But actualy, T5 is the only Tekken I never bought or played, I skipped it, but then they made Dark Resurrection, and I was all in for that on day 1.

Do you hear the people sing?! Singing the song of angry men. It is the music of the people who will not be shills again. When the beating of your heart. Echoes the beating of the drums. It is a life about to start when tomorrow comes.
Is Hayate really the worst Ninja? or am I just playing him wrong? Find out on the next episode of DBZ =/

He isnt the worst. Out of all spinjas, he is the strength type spinja. Ryu Hayabusa is all flash but Hayate is what you go to if you wanna get things done and quick. Ask Emery. XP

Someone has to be the worst, right? Not saying it's him, but then I wouldn't consider myself an expert... maybe depends on the game. I always liked Ein better anyways.

If you say he's the worst in the first version of DOA6++, you're gonna get Raijin insta-KO'd.

He's ranked pretty high up there by Japanese players actually. I believe he was top 5 in DOA5LR as well. DOA6 Hayate can still wreck stuff pretty well despite the big 4P nerf he got.
My new year resolution is to ease my temper and to watch what I say. I'll start now.

The best way to start is have someone on your end to listen your worries and problems to keep your temper in check. Its better to talk it out sometimes you know what I mean?

Well, contrary to what most people probably think, Nintendo has never been a stranger to AAA games. It's just that they usually work with lower powered hardware and people associate AAA with the latest-tech and graphics when AAA is really supposed to be about the budget. Zeldas are AAA as far as Nintendo games go, for example. Ocarina was AAA for its time.

But Pokemon, didn't they just have a major game last year? Not much dev time (maybe rushed) between projects, plus the game looks like the biggest Pokemon ever, and most ppl are loving it, but that's despite the glitches (which all luckily seem to be hilarious so far anyways, not game-breaking and not even hindering players or causing a negative experience at all).

Since people who have already bought Pokemon Scarlet/Violet recently found the game is 'problematic'

My thought of the dev team that came to my mind I think KT is literally the worse, but on the other hand...there's Game freak
inochinagi
inochinagi
Well, KT is a publisher, TN is the dev team. Game Freak is an enigma, though. They handle one of the most beloved, popular, successful, and profitable franchises of all time, yet they put out games like they're some low budget niche dev like NIS or XSeed.
So... just discovered DOA2U is a thing online? If I got that up and running, would anyone want to go a few rounds with me? Would be fun picking up Ein again.

Ah, that's deflating. I'm not even sure my OG Xbox is functional anymore. Ok so, putting that off for now. I'm stuck with Fightcade or something like that if I want to play an older DOA title.

You *can* use either Xbox emulator (CXBX-R or XEMU) but last I checked both don't run the games at 60 fps so you'll be forcing you and anyone you play with to be paying at whatever frame rate your emulator can push that stage at. In some cases it can drop as low a 5 fps because of the stage's performance.

Or in other words, the authentic DOA2U online experience.
Hey guys, new here. Do you play Kazoomy or Ajanei?

I played Coola.
