I concur... FIX THE GOD DAMNED GROUND GAME!

Don't overpower force techs, but at least make them viable again. When I watch my attack go directly through my opponent they use a WUK and I get fucked up and lose the match that was originally in my favor.

It's like attaching a dildo to a woman.

The only thing I want is for Alpha's damages to go back to how they were in vanilla and for her to have her guard breaks again. That's really all. I'm getting sick of seeing my main nerfed every single patch.

Eliot hasn't been nerfed every patch.

The first thing Team Ninja needs to fix is the damn walls. If you're at even a slight angle, you will not get a wall splat and your wall throws will not come out. This actually cost me a match today. Needless to say, I'm annoyed.

Thank you!

It's about fucking time someone else noticed that. This is the main reason that I preferred 5 over 5U. Wall game is shit now. Much harder to access Bayman's 6T/66T reset game at the wall, among other throw and OH setups for other characters.

I want them to fix something with Mila

Make it possible to do the machine gun punch without a five step technical combo, or at least really raise the damage of it to make it worth actually doing.

I wanna be able to do the MGP from standing position, or at least from regular feint, not a double feint. I like being able to catch people with it instead of comboing into it, but really hard to catch people with it when the input is such a convoluted process that doesn't always read, and the extremely minimal damage makes it not really worth the effort right now.

Time for the Demoth amateur hour, but....

I only play Brad, so I don't know who else suffers from this, but his combos seem very easy to jab him out of, mid combo, as well as people getting multiple chances to hold attempt while I'm pummeling them.

Characters like Jann Lee, Lei Fang and Ayane seem to give you one chance to hold and if you screw up you're out for the count (and you can't 2P them mid combo for funsies). Am I doing something wrong as Brad, or is this something he and other characters just have to deal with?

PS - Brad's ground pressure took a major hit in Ultimate. A lot of his guaranteed hit (like 1K K K) now just clip through people.

Brad imo is fine online and for competitive play. Do you have any matches that you can show me or have posted on FSD? So I can help you out with what you're having trouble with

Mila definitely doesn't need something like that. You should lab her up more also look at the Mila thread as something unique posted some valuable info on Mila that will help all Mila mains out. I suggest going through his scenarios and working them into your game.

If we get to play, I'll hopefully be able to show you what I mean, OR you'll show me how to avoid it.

I said "amateur hour" since despite playing DOA forever, I just played and did well by doing what felt right, not studying mechanics. Once DOA 5 hit and was taken more seriously, I noticed almost no-one uses Brad in tournaments except for Chosen1.

Iwent to several big Philly tournaments and nooooo one but me even considered Brad (it was non-stop Jann Lees and Helenas)

Although I'm not well known yet since C1 had been on the community more I'm there too playing him competitively. But if we can play I'll help you out. If not just upload a match on YT and put it on the brad forums

Why shouldn't Mila be able to do MGP without having to combo into it?

Because she doesn't need that. And if you haven't realized already if you don't hold the first punch the shore thingis guaranteed. On top of that if she could do that from neutral more or less she could bait out holds like no tomorrow which isn't needed. She's plenty amazing right now just lab her up more.

You are right, she doesn't need it. But I want it anyway because it would be awesome.

I don't need to "Lab her up more". I was just wishing for her signature versatility to be applied to one of her cooler moves. It's so out of place for her for a move like that be so convoluted to set up.

She should be able to do it from feint, at least, like everything else, rather than having to feint>tackle>cancel tackle>MGP, or the other punch combo, to do it.

From my casual-self, I do think that if a character is already "good" and what you propose isn't needed, it's best if it is left alone.

Giving the character more tools seems like an invitation to buff/nerfs
