Yall don't even know if they did Leon's model, SO PLEASE STFU! :mad: Damn, stop jumping to conclusions, im pretty sure Leon will be in the game...

May I asked what is the sense in squabbling over speculations? I mean, sharing your thoughts is one thing, but acting pissy because someone disagrees is another thing entirely.

In any case, I hope he makes it in the game, but I could see him being removed. I was glad when I heard Ein was likely to be cut, since he has no place in the game anymore. Same with Leon, Tengu and gramps. Still, I'd be sad to see those three gone (I still hate Ein). That's just preference, though.

I'm with Phoenix on this one. Just wait until September, then you can laugh at each other about who was right and what have you.

We do know though, it's not referenced at all in the demo's code unlike everyone else. I'm sure all those other models weren't finished but they were still referenced.

Why don't any of those characters have a place in the game? I don't understand. I've played all of those characters at some point and they all play quite uniquely from one another. Why would it possibly be a good thing that they're gone now?

Yes, it is speculating. If you feel confident enough to tell me the exact character roster with complete certainty, I'll apologize and admit it wasn't speculation. If you can't say it as if it were fact, however, then yes, it is.

They no longer belong in the game based off of canon. Sorry, I should have specified a bit more. Their play styles are all well suited, but I'm discussing story wise. And before you say it, I know they have unlockable characters and all that, but my point just was I can see and understand those characters being removed from the game.

Oh, and I told you, I dislike Ein tremendously xD that's all a matter of opinion on it being "a good thing that [he's] gone."

Moving away from the characters for a moment (sorry), I was wanting more from the stage list. I hope that maybe Team Ninja will do some stage DLC packs. I know they said they wouldn't do character DLC. But, wouldn't it be easier to add stages and costumes as DLC? I know nobody likes DLC, but wouldn't everyone pick up some stage/costume DLC like a month after release?

I figured I'd post it here because I am talking about the stage list from the Demo's EXE.

Well.. it sorta, kinda is speculation.

The data was not finished, nor complete. TN has not confirmed him to be absent from the complete roster.
That was the demo code from the pre-alpha version of the game. Hence, Leon was not playable in that version anyway.
Why read into a missing reference more than we need to?
The character roster list that came from the demo.exe initially was still speculation. It had merit for containing the info it did, but still speculation to assume a character won't make it to the final build.
Nothing is confirmed or valid until TN says so. Obviously.

I still say its a gamble whether Leon makes it or not.
Ein I would not bet on. They pretty much gave Hitomi his stance in the E3 build, if anyone noticed.

I think he was referring to story-wise, in which he's right.
Off the top of my head;
Tengu was defeated in DOA2, while Ein discovered he was the Shinobi of The Wind. Leon came and went in DOA3 tournament.
Gen-Fu taught everything he knew to Eliot and got the medical attention his granddaughter needed back in DOA3.

But you already knew this, DOA fan.

There's this thing called the "internet" which I hear has lots of free porn on it. Sex appeal hardly sells games these days. What that comment had anything to with this thread is beyond me.

:rolleyes: Skullgirls did it...and DOA excels at it...being the only fighting game thats M for Mature at the moment.

Still didn't disprove his point as to what did your comment have to do with anything in this thread. Secondly, Skullgirls did not sell from sex appeal. It sold from the good fighting game mechanics in the game.

You literally like talking just to be talking.

I don't think anyone's saying that they SHOULD be removed for that reason, just that that's mostly likely why. I agree with you though. All three of them were done with their stories in DOA 4, but they were all still playable anyways.
