So I just realized after seeing her combo challenge, that she does indeed have a move from a VF character. Funny thing is, it's not from the ones in this game, lol. At 4:30, she does a move from her special stance that looks like Jeffery's knee launcher(6K) that does indeed act as one. While it's highly doubtful it was intentional, it's still pretty funny she has it, lol.

While i like that TN gave this character a more curvaceous build, giving her a young face like that really looks bad, and clashes heavily with the rest of her. If they made her look older, then i would have probably liked her more. Yeah her boobs are a little too big, but it's the face that turns me off the most. I really only like the costume with the skull t-shirt, also. Rest are meh.

Playwise, she looks like a massive troll character. If I get this game down he line, I'll use her for that purpose alone.

I'm using her.maining her from jump .And looking forward to dominating with her online just off the mix ups available in the kokora stance alone.This must be why she was created!!!! 4 dominating noobs and scrubs who will never realise the intent of her design.She will be banned from tournament play and honestly she should be from online rank as well. Esp when u haters see she does in fact have the bokuhu duck

It finally dawned on me that I want more of HnK's animations because it looks cool as fuck. Although I know "look cool" isn't synonymous with "play cool" and I'm not even sure if the stance pose and CB are also borrowed from something.

At the same time it'd be hypocritical to say I'm against what we have right now because I did like Dural before knowing she's a hotpot character. I just wish there was more to HnK. The background makes it sound huge, but 3 gameplay videos later we still saw next to nothing.

Just felt like posting my obligatory meltdown.

I have a theory:

So if Honoka and Ayane were half-sisters, Ayane would be the older of the two. Honoka's birthday is in March and Ayane's is in August. I say this b/c the DOA tournament appeared to be held in late-March or early-April, around the time the cherry blossoms bloom in Japan (hence the Sakura stage).

Why is this important? Raidou was exiled from the clan after he raped Ayame, so who knows where Raidou was months later in Japan that led to the conception of Honoka and if he played any role in her life. After all he returned to the village to seek revenge on the clan 16 years after he was exiled. He lived some sort of life before he returned.

All of this of course is assuming she's Raidou's daughter. If not, never mind. XD

I think you're right. Honoka in DOA6 will gain experience as a fighter and can eventually finally learn her unique style .

Additionally, they had to create a character that will fit Marie Rose and somehow they can be put into the storyline together .
