Yes, at least a few have returned. LeiFang's panda shirt is actually a fan design from a previous game, for example.

Perfect example as to why they shouldn't alter costumes to their liking :|. This was one of the costumes I wanted to get put in the game, but it just went totally wrong.. For 1 they turned what was initially supposed to be a shirt; into a dress(specifically for how they altered the leggings) in the concept art its more like stretch pants, but in game its stockings, meh. Also would it have been too much for them to give her the bun? Even if it would've been exclusive to this costume only, I've seen them do it before (e.g. Brads Pirate Costume, Sumo Bass, Sports Gear Rachel, Halloween Sarah, etc.). I hate to sound ungrateful, its just stuff like this that really gets on my nerves

Actually I think they made it look better in the game as I found the original design too bland and casual compared to the others. I wanted this one to make it in:

The leggings got a little thinner/lighter, but they were black leggings in the original design as well as the finalized one in game.
I dunno. Looks like a fairly faithful adaptation to me. Nothing to get worked up about if you were really looking forward to the concept design, anyway.

It wasn't so much the shirt but the alteration to the leggings that made it come out like a dress. In the drawing they looked more like stretch pants, and in the game it looked like they were replaced and changed to stockings. Just little details like that I noticed, not trying to be extra critical, just in the concept art it looks a lot classier, but transferred in game its a slight hooker-ish vibe to it. Maybe its just me I don't know. But that wasn't the main thing that was irksome to me, above all else it would've been nice to see her get the hairstyle in my opinion.

I agree, the concept was really nice, but the transfer to 3D wasn't successful IMHO.

The most annoying part is that the panda sweater was practically unchanged.
What also makes the in-game dress look worse and imho very tacky: Helena's big-ass boobs and then these fat roses accentuating her bust even more, while the rest of the costume is extremely plain. I also don't think, the bun would have saved anything...on the contrary probably.
Why does Helena even have this huge boobs? Canonically she's actually supposed to have more moderate ones (smaller than Momiji's or Sarah's):

All that's saying is if I took measuring tape and wrapped around Mila's chest, it would be 34". It doesn't take anything else into account. I'm Pai's bust size but am as flat as a board.
Like Mr. Wah said you need to take cup size into account. That's how you get A, B, C, etc... 36C is often called the perfect size for a woman.

I'm one of those people like...I can do graphing, trajectories, I can do advanced algebraic formulas in my head. But I can't do basic multiplication or simple measurements lol.
So my titty measurement basically amounts to "Big, Medium, Small" lol. And all the DOA girls rest firmly at Medium to me.
