Now what I'm not understanding is why did they invite Sarah when they were gonna make Rig debut in the series¿ I'd have invited someone like Aoi, Lei-Fei or Lau. But that's just me though.

Rig and Sarah play nothing alike. They're about as far apart as Akira and Kokoro.

I did not have the chance to play the build DrDogg ,so i trust you but i strictly was talking about flamingo mixups and the fact that he is a rushdown character.Flamingo seems to be the primary tool of Rig just like sarah.

I was responding to TRI Mike's post, but they do have similar styles since they both use FLA. However, while Sarah excels in FLA and wants to be in FLA quite often, Rig can handle himself well in neutral stance and only go into FLA for an additional mixup.

Also, Rig against the wall is brutal. You must be ready to interrupt or evade the guard break. If you block that, goodbye half your life.

hah my bad i realised it too late.I saw he has a throw in flamingo too.Is it a wall throw too ?That would be sick.I hope Jann lee has one too in his new dragon stance.

The Leifang article is up...

Nice. Sounds like Leifang finally plays like she's supposed to. Do you think her damage output should be higher, too? Shimbori seemed concerned about that in his recent tweets, but it looks like she is pretty good already.
Mastering that parry is going to be fun.

Balancing her damage is going to be difficult. She can't get all that much off of her parries without playing the stun game. If you go the safe route, you'll get maybe 25% without environmental assistance. However, if you play the stun game and go for a full combo into CB into launch/PB, the damage is higher.

I'd say this is fine, but other characters can avoid most of the stun game and still get nice damage.

Yeaa.... other characters don't have tons of sabaki's and crushes like she does though. This is one of those situations where her damage is fairly humble but her utility is through the damn roof.

Last time I recall a character with that sort of balance was pre-patch viola. We both how great of an idea it ended up being to buff her...

Is it known, if she has guaranteed follow-ups to her mid kick holds as well? It seems like some moves that put the opponent backturned have (Ayane, Bayman) while others don't (Kasumi, Lisa).

On a serious note, good article Dr. Dogg, to be honest though, she kind of sounds like Jack-6 with less damage output. By that I mean she has a lot of attacks/tools that give her frame advantage so that she can constantly keep pressure on the opponent, not to mention good grappling ability. As long as she is high-mid or above tier, its probably who I'll main.

Thanks for the lowdown. My main throughout Doa, I'm please with the changes and she sounds like she'll be an even more a stylish character to play.
Tagging parry at the end of strings is a really interesting development and having set follow up choices is great as well.

Can you give any examples of moves that go under high attacks though?
