Not trying to argue at all, but I can understand if you don't like how the game looks, your personal disfavor of the series I sense is also a factor too. The graphics have grown on me though and it'll look better than in arcades, hopefully they even fix Lili's hair. But even that doesn't bother me, the weird glued physics kinda turn me on:oops:
Oh no! I wasn't talking about you haha!

I'm seeing a lot of "omg I went to a retailer and they had Tekken 7 available for preorder and that the release date will be February 14-17th!!!11!1!1!1" and on one hand please be true but on the other... That's an incompletion.

Release dates for upcoming games are out, tekken appears to be slated for a March 31st release date, although it might be subject to change. This is for the US, I'm not sure about EU and any other foreign regions unfortunately:

I'm pretty psyched for this! Also I'm already guaranteed a preorder, dad said if I made good grades last semester when I get my report card, he'll give me any game I choose! So I'm gonna ask him for a T7 copy preordered and he can just send it and any of goodies to me....so glad this doesn't count as a birthday gift either, lol XD

By the way, I heard rumors that Tekken 7 might be on the Switch and I also heard that Nintendo is having a stream of list games for release. Tekken might be possible on that list.

I really think T7 could be a launch title for Switch, you know how many sales they'll get doing that? XD they'll probably feature Nintendo exclusive stuff in it too like TTT2 toake it even more worth it.
^ Omg at whoever posted Cupcakke on that last pic

But hopefully March is the real release month
I just realized that was in the screenshot! XD Good eye!

Can the Switch even handle a game like Tekken 7?

I'm sure it would. Though still unsure why they put out a Tekken game on a platform that's difficult to get things going in terms of overall usage of both the casual players and competitive stick players.

EDIT: Nevermind! just looked it up and companies are making arcade sticks for the switch!

Yep, the game runs on the Unreal Engine 4 which is well optimized for virtually every platform, they might have room downgrade some flora and flooring but they can make it work. In TTT2 they did that too and the game had that one mode where fighters could get big or small while running a stable frame rate.

Oh yeah. I heard about the arcade stick situation. Other than that, I don't think the Nintendo switch is going to have any usefulness when it comes to the competitive side of things (since PlayStation or arcade have always been the standard for Tekken tournaments).

Yeah exactly that. Been trying to figure that out since consoles such as the PS4 can do both, easier services, and is the standard ideal console, but there might be possibilities of using the Switch home console for the TV/Monitor itself and just plugging controllers/sticks.
