A new gessen girl might be there to act as Shiki's replacement since she really is leaving the team. Just like how Ayame is being selected to replace Katsuragi in the Hanzo team.
Shiki is leaving, Why? Also in that one trailer it showed for SK7 it confirmed that Ryona and Ryoubi will be Gessen girls right since they were wearing the uniform?

Now that I think about it, I think many of the elements from PBS will be in 7even with how much co-op/team based stuff is talked about for it

Towards the end of Gessen's PBS story, Shiki questioned whether she would take the offer to the International school or reject it, and she decided to take it

I think the Ryona/Ryobi in Gessen thing was a flashback, since they were originally part of Gessen before transferring to Hebijo

Something noticed from the SK7 teaser; in the opening of deep crimson, there is a brief image of Naraku surrounded by many Earths, this didnt make much sense in the game itself but given how estival versus confirmed that each story really took place in an alternate universe, this means that those were the different Earths. The SK7 teaser briefly showed a similar scene but this time, most of the Earths were on fire or destroyed. This is clearly setting up that Shin has destroyed most of the alternate Earths possibly excluding the universes for deep crimson and estival versus/peach beach splash universes.

Hopefully, one of those destroyed Earths was the Hebijo ending from shinovi versus if only so that EVERYONE including team Hebijo died since they were the only ones left and were too weak to take on Shin on their own since they killed the other teams. I personally also like to think Kagura killed team Hebijo after that ending to avenge the Hanzo and Crimson girls since she considers them her friends.

I feel like making them gessen girls again would ruin the only thing interesting about Ryona & Ryobi with their storyline of infiltrating hebijo to get revenge on Miyabi then becoming friends with the girls and deciding to stay. That and they don’t fit in with Gessen’s good shinobi ideals at all.

So? I compare Ryona to Harley, in Injustice 2 she was one of the good guys despite still being crazy and a loose cannon and I think Ryona could be good if she wanted, she never seemed truly evil imo.

And there's more to Ryona that makes her interesting XD

I said Gessen, they’re extremely strict about their definition of good. Being an enormous pervert is obviously okay in hanzo.

You also have to question their morals for killing 4 (almost 5 counting Murasaki) girls in the name of a school they didn’t care about as part of their plan to get revenge on Miyabi. I remember Ryona being reluctant but IIRC they both still try to go through with their plan after finding out Miyabi wasn’t even the one who killed Ryoki, it was a yoma.

That was non canon tho XD and that reluctance shows there's good in her. If you want to see the positive parts of her personality they show in EV, she's relatively friendly to the other girls, very loving and caring to her sisters and she's even the one who talks some sense into Ryobi in regards to them saying their farewells to Ryoki, k think people focus too much on the SV arc when that doesn't realistically happen.

I mean yeah it sounds dark and I wouldn't mind a story that takes on that more somber direction but the only reason they had a story like that was because technically if I remember they were the main focus of SV so of course they were given a darker more somber story and conclusion since the Hebijo school is the evil school so killing is no object to them. But even still, all the girls bar maybe a few are capable of killing, the ones who use weapons anyway, like how do you expect them not to fatally hurt their opponent with a hien blade or daggers or twin pistols? XD

No, it did happen. Kind of. Beyond the whole multiverse thing, Miyabi explicitly references their SV ending in PBS. It's pretty safe to assume that, while the canon version of the events doesn't include the whole going out and murdering every other team bit, the final chapter played out pretty much the same.

Oh, well that's to be expected, otherwise it would seem strange that Ryona and Ryobi would at least remain neutral towards the other hebijo girls despite wanting to kill Miyabi.

Also when do you guys think the Valkryie Drive and Kanu will come to US version? I cut my hair shorter recently and it makes me appreciate longer hair than I ever had before and I want Kanu's hair when I get the game more than ever for ryona XD that and Ikarugas pinned up hair with loose hime sidelocks

I remember a while ago someone somewhere (was it here? :confused: I forget) mentioning every version of events in the SK games is canon and just takes place in a different universe/dimension but even with that aside the hebijo chapter is what would have happened if they were allowed to win those fights.

Continuing the multiverse thing, imagine a SK game that uses the ‘ghosts are alive here’ thing EV and PBS did and continues SV’s hebijo arc. Hebijo gets transported to an island and proceeds to get the shit beat out of them by all the girls they killed.

I don't want to imagine that XD plus realistically none of the girls would be able to best Ryona and Ryobi anyway since they use guns XD

Not sure who it was but the games are set out like -

SK1 -> SK2

and

SK1 -> SKSV -> SKEV -> SKPBS etc

But I think there was something like for SKSV multiple parts of the girls storylines are canon, Like parts of Hebijo's is canon like the Ryona and Ryobi thing but then parts of Hanzo's is canon too. Not sure If there is other universes I guess that aren't really seen where the Hebijo girls actually kill everyone and then end up dying in the future against Shin being themselves.
