I don't understand the purpose of having a list like this. I wouldn't want to be on it either, so I completely understand.
The point of this list is to allow people to enlist other people for assistance with a character they may be learning. It's a pretty nifty idea.
Pretty much what @Force_of_Nature said. Also, surprised you said that considering the purpose behind this list was on the 1st post

I never really looked at this. This list is nice.
What I'm wondering is, what is the skill level of these players? I know some of them are really good but for some I really have no idea. Or does skill not really play a role?

Skill plays as much a role as how active you are and how hoften you play the character, which means none at all.
Yes it does play a role, you don't have to be a high level tournament player, most are not but they at least have prominent knowledge about said character. While also actually being pretty good. No one can argue they know more about Pai than Codemaster, for example.

And are willing and able to help other players in the community with the general system mechanics (basic, intermediate, advance) for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
Basically, a list of recommended players that are up to the task of helping and contributing to the community and forums (most of us already do anyway). We can answer questions, critique, give advice and tips, or can even play you via XboxLive or PSN (under reasonably playable latency). If you're in a player's area for an offline meet or for an offline scene in your area, even better.
Only FSD regulars will be listed here. The list can always grow with more knowledgeable players that are willing to help with specific characters. Some players I have gone ahead and listed myself since I can vouch for some from my personal observations here on the forums.

Not saying this in a sense of doubts or any sorts of negativity, but the purpose of the list is a bridge and general direction on who to contact for specific character knowledge and people who showed contribution to the site for the character. Not sure what's to correct when those specific people provided information of the characters in the forums from my understanding. Thus being character specialists, players who dig into the character from top to bottom. Not a list of who's a better player..but rather a list of players who simply put effort into the character and speak about the character freely with the knowledge they gathered.

This isn't any sorts of offense if that's how you've taken it, you could learn all those characters but if someone asks you a specific question on what's advantage or not or how the character is overall, you want to give them the right answer. You can't just say I know Nyotengu and immediately provide tips. That's what I am getting at.

Well that's the problem. I or We "don't know you either"..so how exactly can we get confirmation from someone who just pops out of nowhere and claims on what to correct. Not to mention that if you got a short temper, how exactly can people faithfully trust you on character info if you are getting a steamed for whatever reason. I mean shit, if you having a short temper from randomness and If I'm trying to learn Kasumi...I would of done it myself.
If you truly know Kasumi, then speak your mind on the forums on how you know her and share it with the other Kasumi players. Anyways, hope your day goes well and likely a couple shots will help hopefully.

hmmm you're right sorry for being rude to you im not always short tempered but if i have bad day or someone ruin my morning im kinda pissed and when im angry i take it out on everyone so sorry ik kasumi but i use her on my own way like sometimes i stop in the middle of a combo and taunt her spin so ppl counter and then i hi counter throw

The point DestructionBomb is trying to make is what justification is there for you to be added to the Character List if we don't know how much knowledge you have with a character (neither less 7). A recommendation would be to take your best character and contribute what you can for that character, then there would be a reason for someone to come to you for help with that character.
Good point also about the "temper" part, since ALOT of patience is required to help other people, especially with a game as complex as DOA5:LR.

DestructionBomb has basically summarized the purpose of this thread. It is to establish the names of members who have been here contributing to our forum and providing the players with accurate information and assistance they seek.
When someone really wants to learn something about Ayane, they contant @Force_of_Nature or myself because we are the most prominent resource for this character.
