Christie vs Bayman video

This is how i felt about the matter...how could you fuck up NG2? they didn't need to do all that...to be honest, if the game played exactly like NGS2 had Ayane and Momiji as playable characters in random chapters and still had the same BS storyline the game would have been leaps and bounds better then it was. don't get me started on $2.99 a weapon DLC either.

as far as DOA5's QTE's go, right now, cliffhangers are fine. it's a 50/50 and one of them can reduce/soften the damage if you guess right, you can avoid the cliffhanger altogether and just fall, so I think it's ok for now.

but yeah back to dat topic...which was...oh ya...Bayman and Boobs..err Christie's trailer~ Is it me or do you find it too coincidental that there is a similar stage in NG3 o_O

A few things to list cuz I gotta bounce to Ultimate Gaming Spot!

Multi tiered stages in 3D fighters. (DOA copied MK3, Itagaki said so)

.

Funny how Ed Boon himself said he integrated multitiered stages into MK:D because he was influenced by DOA.

Technically combo throws are QTE's so DoA been doing that for awhile and NBA games were doing the whole sweat thing back in 2006. DoA5 hasn't done anything innovative. To be innovative means to do something new/different. QTE's are neither new nor different regardless if they have been done in a fighting game or not (and they have been done in plenty of other fighting games.)

Level of integration makes a world of difference. You can grasp at starws and find similarities in anything and everything.

I never understood the term "juicy lips".

Does that come from biting into a females lower lip and sucking out the nectar?

well you gently bite it .. and slowly suck it ...
then you picture that shiny ripe juiciness sliding down different parts of your body till ... mmmmmmmmmmmm
yup ...

Nah, MK3 had multilayer Stages and DOA just more so perfected them being on a more powerful system. Like remember in MK3 where you can uppercut said character into the ceiling which takes the fight into a different plane. I guess that's how it all started.

Barriers, and ground bounces in DOA4.

Ground/Air throws in DOA3 (I'm pretty sure they beat Tekken to this)

Walls in DOA2. (Every 3D fighter except Tekken had ring outs)

Lobby. Mentioned NO FIGHTER pre 360/PS3 had an online lobby.

Sure there's more gotta bounce.

Im sure Fighting Vipers came out way before DOA2 >_> and that was on the SEGA AM2 hardware no less....funny how that is...so Walls were something that around....

Im not sure when VF Jeffery got his air throw but he has one  so idk....i'll check more into that later...

Edit: Jeffery didn't get it until VF5~
Geese actually has a ground throw too so that dates back to Fatal Fury Special....way before DOA1. But VF3 had true ground throws(Aoi/Wolf/Jeffery)....still beating DOA3 to the punch.

No he literally credited DOA for multi tiered stages in MK. Verbatum.

It's taking an idea and moving it to the next level. There's a difference between walking and sprinting. Yeah it's the same concept, people with legs. One just took it another level.

True. But Ed Boon created the Walk which helped Team Ninja on their Sprint.

I posted an image earlier in this thread. There's only one leg, but you and Driftslave can take turns standing on it.

And that was the Leg I was referring to...

Also, I wouldn't mind standing above because then you can get a clearer understanding...

Fact: MK came up with the "Walk", aka "Multilayer Stages"
Fact: DOA took that idea and "Sprinted" aka "Enhanced The Multilayer Stages"
Fact: ED Boom gave credit to DOA for improving on that idea.
Fact: Without Legs, there ain't much Sprinting...
Fact: Lets move on to a more important Topic, like something that is relevant to the Thread we're in.

Parrying out of stun and grabbing mid combo? Give him an offensive hold and my Zack has a new backup :D

By your logic we should be crediting Atari for everything in gaming.

Why not, definitely if we're talking about "Gaming" alone. But individual credited ideal goes to whom birth them. Shit, we can go back further than Atari like the first video game Console Magnavox, but I'm leaving this discussing in the Past for the betterment of the Future in this Forum, so I'll take my leave by "walking" out this specific Topic...

We should thank the lord too, for it was his innovation that brought us boob sweat.
