Well they got Bass a cape for his Mr. Strong costumes, I don't see why giving Helena such wouldn't be possible.

Since it's actually a coat, what about if she was wearing the coat instead of it just being over her shoulder? It'd be a bit unrealistic if she were to fight and it wouldn't fall off. I would prefer it if it were only over her shoulders though because that'd be awesome. It'd be pretty sick.

The best that they could do is to remove her default sleeves off while wearing the coat but knowing that TN did release a coat-off version of Kokoro's new schoolgirl uniform (C4) and a shirtless version of Hayate's C2 as DLCs, it will probably end that way now.
I seriously think that all coat on and off versions of the same outfit should have been available by default from the start. I mean Kokoro's C3 and C5, Lisa's C3 and C5, Eliot's C2 and C4 and Bayman's C2 and C5 are basically the same outfits but unlike Hayate and Kokoro's schoolgirl uniform, theirs are already on-disc.

Yeah, and there´s a lot more, Hitomi C1 and C2 is another example. I hate have to play arcade/time attack, etc. Over and over for unlock the same costumes, just with/without coat/jacket or for with a different color. I remeber DOA3 when Lei Fang used to have 4 different color for her dress just by pressing a different botton when selecting the costume. This is fair, so why we can have this again? I´m tired of how TN recycle their costumes for everyone.
I honestly don´t want 15 costumes per character, I will be happy if I have 4 or 5 original and different costumes with maybe some color swap as a default option.

Oh right Hitomi's C1 and C2. It's probably going to have a 3rd version by 5U because the pants and sneakers they used for her DOA4 tank top and denim jacket are the same as those 2. Leifang's dress was more ridiculous in DOA4 for having 5 colors.
I get what you mean, thing is instead of letting that function happen, they had to allot it for all the girl's pantie options. :/
I'd say it's best if they remove the change pantie options to begin with so that all versions of the same outfit can be chosen and that there can be more slots for other costumes.

We don´t anything new about costumes. What we saw in the trailer/stream is all we are going to have for now.

Majority of the costumes on the E3 Trailer wasn't really appealing to me except for Eliot's kitty hood and Sarah's red long coat.
I wish they would make a First Time Pack 2 for 5U. There were 11 costumes for each character at the First Time Pack in 5. I want some of the characters who only had one costume in the E3 trailer to receive these along with the new/returning characters. (except Jacky because he already has 4 of his default costumes from VF5: FS along with Akira, Sarah and Pai)
I took into account what some of the people here likes so there's a little bit of everybody in it (but it doesn't apply for everyone so to each their own if you don't like a particular costume on the image) and here's what I think on what the contents should be if ever we were to be given such again:

and for Christie and Leon's Trenchie, although I would actually prefer Ein's DoAD C1 over his DoA2/U C2

I was actually debating whether to choose that outfit or the denim vest and white shirt but I like both of them in general though I always thought the denim vest was more iconic.

Well I don't necessarily agree with all the costumes (specifically the Eliot one) but there's a possibility that they'll release another first time pack for ultimate that includes the characters that weren't in the original free one.

here's what I put together for Tina
It is a combination of all 4 costumes:
DOA1 C5: hat, shirt color, off to the side hanging belt and gun, & short cowboy boots
DOA2U C10: peeking red under garments, short sleeve shirt
DOA3 C4: my fav costume in DOA for tina, this the very essence what i wanted
DOA C2: Jean like shorts with white trims, diagonal hanging belt
added white top with short sleeves, Transparent material
added short boots to extenuate the legs to look longer
added really Short short shorts with an open fly to create a V & have peeking under garments & peeking out pockets.
Hey I think this is similar to what I requested!
Look at the similarities of the shirt!? its even Translucent
not red undergarments, but hey looks really nice

I really, really don't like Eliot's midriff bare outfit. I don't care if it looks "gay", as so many others complain, but it looks just ridiculous. Who would ever wear something like that? I do think especially Eliot's not the type to wear something freaky like that. Well, I do think this about his catboy outfit as well though... I wished, they'd make another "normal" street wear outfit for him... OR BRING BACK HIS RED HOODIE AND JEANS!!! Yeah, that's it! That was a nice outfit!
But I have the feeling, we won't see any new costumes for the guys, except maybe Ein, Leon and Jacky, as their wardrobe is very limited at this point.
I know, right? That's still my favorite of all his costumes in all 3 games (not because that's exactly how I dress, or anything).
