Hmmm, well, I can understand, but like I said, it's just another definition of the characters. They are more mature. Don't mean to offend you guys, but open your mind. I understand what you mean with "fanservice", especially with the Halloween pack. But here, I think it's alright, there is nothing too disturbing.
I don't know, I can totally see the characters's personality in these costumes, having a vacation after the events of DOA5 : Rig and Christie driving a cabriolet, the wind whipping through their hair. I can see Lisa on Zack Island, quietly preparing for DOAX3. I can see Mila sauntering in Central Park, Eliot guiding Gen Fu in London,Gardener Tifa Kokoro attending a pottery workshop, etc.
But yeah, I feel like Hitomi and Ayane could have had something more casual, Ayane's costume isn't something you can see in the street.. that's more like a fantasy from TN.
A good think with Brad's costume is that it matches Gen Fu's DOA5U hawaian shirt.
Anyway, I'm glad the art direction is evolving, because as much as I like throwback costumes, it's nice to see original stuff from TN. And again with Kasumi's leather jacket, it is suppose to symbolize the fact she is more mature than ever.
