It's nice that you guys are trying and I hate to be a downer but seeing as they're charging for character DLC there's just no way they'll ever add a male character when a female one would sell 10 times as much.

I know that the girls are the most popular characters, but I seriously doubt that all the DLC characters will end to be female ones. It's true that you have to pay for them, but the situation doesn't seem to me so different from the release of DoA5U, improved separated version of the game that ended to get 5 additional character of which three guys (and so not all girls).
In the hypothesis that TN really planned to add 5 DLC characters, personally I think that we will end to get surely 3 females: Marie Rose, Phase 4 and ??? (maybe Irene, the most requested female between the old ones left out?) and at least 1 guy (maybe Tengu, the most requested male between the old ones left out?).
About the fifth character, personally I think that it will be a female only if a guest star from VF (Eileen or Aoi already mentioned by Hayashi like really requested by the fans) otherwise I think the chances are more toward Yaiba or an original male character.
I'm sorry for Shiden and Genra but I've never seen too much requests for them, while Kasumi Alpha is definitely out now that there is another ordinary clone of Kasumi like Phase-4 (and by the way the moves more representative of K.Alpha should be already all included in Kasumi or A-152). So after Tengu, Raidou is imo the only old DoA character that could get a real chance to return, but if Phase-4 should be revealed like a mimic character then even him would be automatically out.
By the way I have to say that you made a great work with your creations in the pic! (but sorry, I really can't ask to TN to replace Bankotsubo with another character XD).
