Would be nice if Phase 4 had an unique animation for her wake up kick : she's lying on the floor, she disappears with a lot of smoke and reappears somewhere else depending on the input (8, 2, 4, 6).

Not to sound like a pretentious twat, but most here don't even understand the nuances of the discussion, let alone consider the repercussions.

*waits for someone to come in and critique that statement without any clue what I'm referring to*
If you're referring to the most recently talked about subject at hand in this thread - Marie Rose and her portrayed sexualization in this site being a negative impact for DOA to the public outside of its community - then I think I'm up to code.

If you're talking about the thread in general - a discussion of the casual aspects of DOA that aren't necessarily focusing on the gameplay - then I still think I'm up to code.

EDIT: @StrikerSashi : Actually, @Blazeincarnated isn't BS-ing, there is one particular adult exactly my age that doesn't look a day over 16.

Have you ever heard of... Yuko Ogura?

But the question is do we try and make some sort of rule that, unless it is given a very lengthy description, will most likely be too vague to work (or be seen by the majority of members) or do we just handle it on a case by case basis?

It's actually not nearly so acute, as I see it. This is just a manifestation of a larger sociological trend, one that's been seeing something of a resurgence as of late. People feel like by turning a blind eye, they'd be paving a trench down a road they don't want the "river" to flow (if that makes any sense). Essentially, each party is trying to put down a foot to shape the vox populi to fit a path they desire, and they use arguments of varying validity and efficiency to do so.

@Blazeincarnated you keep on repeating this imho really stupid argument: But Team Ninja says, she's 18, so she's legal!
By the same argument the 13 year old girl in the club is actually legal, just because she claims to be 18. Yeah...I don't think so...

Well...no, it's not like that at all. She didn't claim she's 18, the people who created the fictional universe in which she exists did. It'd be more along the lines of if you were at a club, and what ever being(s) or powers that be that you may or may not believe in came in to say, "She's 18, dude."

What I meant:
Believing (or someone claiming) something to be true, doesn't make it true.
And now, let's be honest, everyone was like: "Yeaaah, riiiiight... XD" When we first learned, that Marie Rose was 18. We all new, why Team Ninja claimed, what they flimsily claimed.

Does TN have to give you a document of evidence? What part of 18 do you not understand?
Its funny because back in the day, no one talked about Kasumi, Ayane, and a lot of other female characters being under 18, that's why I find it hypocritical of all of you.

Oh, so you are a psychic, knowing, what I was talking about back in the day! :)
It doesn't matter. You and everyone else didn't bitch about it then, so why now? I know why... because TN wasn't active in social media back then for you to bitch to, therefore going to my first thought, is that people have opinions on things that are irrelevant and baseless. This is why I respect people like Ed Boon from Netherrealm because he actually doesn't care what people think over social media. He looks at people's tweets and ignores anything negative.

The truth of the matter is, there wasnt really a two year time gap between doa4 and doa5 that was an excuse to make the characters socially acceptable for western players, its a form of censorship and it happens all the time when japanese games are localized (example. Bravely Default for 3ds). Its the same case for Marie Rose, had this been a japanese exclusive game she would not be 18.
