Speaking of new characters, if they did include a guest character why not a new character from Samurai Warriors 4? SW4 is getting the PS4 port here in the US in October:

God getting DE-ranked because of lag sucks it makes it seem like i leave the match so i get penalty's off the chain

But most of them are not.
They are equal to that one lame "flurry attack" super you could lick in third strike for each character, which was just an automated combo/string attack, rather than one of the real supers.
Like Ryus and Rachel's? Energy attacks. Sweet. Hitomis, or tinas? Lame. Just a regular string that doesn't do much damage for the effort it takes to land it.
Power launchers are retarded though. Seeing someone doing thirty backflips straight up like a Looney tunes routine looks stupidly out of place in DOA.
I think I would be "slightly" more accepting of power launchers if the enemies just shot up without spinning like Sonic. Like how Ryu sets up an Izuna.

Power Launchers and DOA netcode just don't go together. Even the no-timing ones are in most cases useless in lag. One move whiffs and you sacrifice 50-60 damage (and probably wall damage or danger zone). For me it's a stupid mechanic added just for Ultimate to have more features and make people buy the same game with few new additions for the full price. But it's TN, I should be surprised but I'm not.

I don't think so, the new ranks are in arcades from the beginning so if TN was about to add them to consoles then we'd probably get them when Marie was released... but who needs new ranks? Getting Ruby is already hard as fuck.

the only hard part to achieve the Ruby Rank is finding ppl in ranked...anyone can achieve it sooner or later...the only problem that for me it takes like 20/30 minutes to find 1 opponent...and i just want the U rank because i like the color! i was hoping in new ranks so that ppl go back playing ranked thats all XD
