From what I realized, resurrected was just the term used by @Leifang2000 for translating the interview: the term "returning" could be an alternative (so not implying in any cases a "resurrection") and again, as Russian said, the word was never used directly for depicting the male character.

By the way Rio is originated from a popular Japanese Tecmo series, the anime is just a recent product tied to the franchise but that has nothing to do with her popularity: honestly her presence in DoA is comparable with the one of Ayane in the last Fatal Frame.

However I continue to consider Raidou the most likely candidate, I wanted just being clear with you.

What I wanted say is that the presence of the higlights in Mila's hair, while surely a difference, is anyway minor compared to the actual color that is completely different between the two characters.

Before than the higlights should be this to make realize that the hair is not the same.

PS: However this was just a sidenote, I know that you were contestating the misunderstanding of the fans about the true color of Mila...

Meanwhile, I'm trying to think of another tomboy fangirling at a chance to meet her idol....I mean.... that's hardly a stock character type. That's more of a stock single episode plot. And why attack Mila over this? That's uncalled for. If you actually wanted to retaliate you could have said something like "I'm sick of soldier girls", since that's the only existing character I actually want brought in.

- We dont have several scientists .. we only have Lisa... who doubles as a luchadore and hardly did any thing scientific in a long time.
- If you played the game, then you would know that she isn't just a hot scientist ... shes a manipulative mega foul mouthed necrophiliac bitch with an attitude.. we don't have that in DOA ... Christie doesn't even come close ..
- Her Hair style is different from everyone else .. I'd like to see how TN would pull it off instead of giving us straight haired chicks who use head and shoulders all the time.
- Having her, representing a different organization from M.I.S.T. would create more depth to the games story in a sense that it would justify the return of resurrected characters (Raidou, Genra.. Gen Fu who's most likely gonna die). I don't want to see 6 different Kasumis in DOA6 ...
- Like it or not Yaiba is technically in the same universe. hell if they decide some how to put him as well then I don't mind either. He would be an awesome antagonist to Hayabusa. Not evil, but not having any morals.
- For the record, there is no actual moving model of her in Yaiba.. so she would fit the category of a NEW character. throughout the game she was always represented as stills.


The more I think about it the more I think Miss Monday would be awesome.

I was reading the Koei wiki not long ago and found an excerpt on the Gracia page that basically said that the point of her character was to be charming with a unique hairstyle. At the time I thought: "Wow, what a horrible foundation for a character to be created off of." Now that I've had a chance to mull it over, I still that that a hairstyle is poor excuse for a character (an oversimplification, but you understand my point).

I read the comics and watched the game's cutscenes. They tried way too hard with the amoral anti-hero card and it really did make him turn out to be evil, since he went out of his way to be a douche and rarely did anything that wasn't purely self-indulgent (which are evil traits, from my perspective). By comparison, Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader are benevolent heroes. And when that can be said with a straight face, the protagonist in question has serious issues (much like the way I consider Kratos an antagonist and have severe issues with him being the primary playable hero in the God of War series).

Sure as hell beats Irene... who would add nothing to the story Rachel already has, is a blonde who we have plenty of, wheres leather also something we are saturated with and finally is a wuss that keeps needing help.

At least Irene is shown to have at least some battle prowess. Monday is a lab geek and there's really no reason for her to be a martial arts expert.

None of this matters much since I think her chances of making it into DOA as a new playable character are rather low. But, just saying.

I'm not so much concerned about the female as I am the male at this point. Truth is, I've been playing dimensions a lot more and I never realized just how underrated Genra actually is (now I understand @SilverForte's hype). His combo potential, his stance and projectiles, and who doesn't like headbutting people with horns? I keep trying to get into Raidou b/c he looks so much more bad@ss but I can't. I feel like I'm playing a slow Hayate or Ryu and I don't use either of those characters to begin with...
