All of my three mains in B Tier. That's pretty good! Still think Christie should be switched with Gen Fu, as he is most definitely the best character in the game. ;)

I will be the first to admit rig is a relatively high tier character. But its a slap to the face and laughable that people think lisa is higher than rig. Not to mention phase 4 is barely higher than bass. Ugh no. Just no. But in the end tiers don't determine wins over other characters, player styles do.

1) Rig's match up data has not been submitted.
2) Phase 4's match up data has not been submitted.

This is why I don't feel it should have been front page news, because only 1/3rd of the character match up data had been submitted and discussions between submissions left to be had. For the most part, people who I had reached out to were in agreement on submitted matchups between their characters, and discussions were had on a majority of the conflicts with a resolution.

You can always submit your thoughts on whatever character in the discussion thread.

Lisa is higher than Rig and all 3 VF characters. I'm surprised the Earth hasn't imploded.

While I don't necessarily believe in tiers (to some extent and varying from fighter to fighter.) I don't think this makes any sense. But to beat the dead horse yet again, we'll have DOA5LR to look forward to, I just hope a better job is done with creating that tier list. I wish more community members and top players/tournament players would partake in the discussions.

Like it or not it dictates who people play for during tourneys like akuma in sf4, mishimas in tekken tag 2, Litchi for Blazblue and yes Christie for DOA (even though i think thats an under statement).

I guess what I can say is... it's up to the player. As Kokoro, my job is to understand my matchups and adapt to the patches TN throws at me. I am beyond comfortable facing Ayane, Helena, Christie, and Jann because I know what I have to change to use your tools and knowledge of my character in relation to yours against you (also because everyone and their cat mains these characters).

Just so, it's my opponent's job to do the same thing... but they don't get to face a solid Kokoro even 10% as often as I've faced their character. I think the tier list is accurate enough with room for improvement. People are right, this is a result of high level play being Christie centric. But at the same time a person has to be an expert with every character to get the most accurate tier list. A tier list in and of itself is supposed to be the collaborative effort of many experts in the specific criteria it covers.

For the passion of your characters, please speak up about your own tools and experiences. There shouldn't be this much ambiguity so close to the next big expansion.

But I suppose when Last Round arrives all I can say is...

Adapt

Yall crazy Eliot is obviously S tier.
for STUPIDLY NERFED!
Nah, but speaking in good terms I have tried my best to represent him at the tournaments that I have gone to. I might even go to a few majors next year. He can do things other characters can't. (like suck)
Nope--->*He has the best range game*.
(Edit) He has a pretty damn good range game
Has a mediocre close range game.
can juggle the longest (no?)
Even so he should be at least in a tier with other characters. It's not nice for him to be lonely.

I'll finally provide my input on Mila after LR is released if its still wanted. I'll also finish that write up if she isnt butchered again.

So out of my 3 characters Jann Lee is C tier, Helena is B tier, and NyoTengu is D tier. Im actually quite surprised Jann Lee C tier. I had thought he was in the B tier category, but thats ok. The game is really balanced and we saw NyoTengu in top 8 at TFC.

So, I was looking at the tier chart and discussions here, and it appears that Christie has no bad matchups???? That really seems a little too biased. Looks like the problem is that Kwiggle gave the input for that. I wonder if its less about the character and more about how skilled Quiggle is.

I mean, if you are the best DOA player in the US, does it really matter what character you are using?

I guess I would wonder if everyone actually agrees with that. Is the chart really about the character or more about the skill of the player. I guess it's hard to distinguish, as I just can't buy that a character has NO bad matchups, or that a character has NO good matchups (Eliot).

Edit: I also have to question how legit matchup data is when it's provided by 1 person, even if he did win a tournament with the character. If iTheApprentice wins TFC 2015 with Eliot for example, does that automatically make Eliot better.

It'd probably make people reconsider what he's capable of.
I'm going to spend some serious time training hard for next years tourneys.
