I think TN vaguely mentioned a possibility of new stages and characters in the future but there are no guarantees. Season pass 2 is pure speculation

I love the latest batch of costumes, but I also really hope that they do something different in June. The idea of superhero costumes for Bayman, Gen Fu, and Eliot does nothing for my hype meter.

They both did, sort of. Aquarium in DOA2 Ultimate, Aqua Palace in DOA3.

Even if far from being a proper acquarium, DoA5 has anyway the "Depth" stage that is immersed in the water. I always found it one of the coolest original stages of DoA5 for its design, Danger Zone changes to the environment and light effects, but sadly seems that very few fans like it.

I think the problem most people have with a lot of DoA5 (and following updates) stages is that they're too "regular".
Despite having variations, multiple levels etc etc, they're mostly just square arenas with no floor height differences or barriers etc.
(Emphasis on "mostly" as there are a few notable exceptions I guess.)
This was done on purpose to "standardize" the game more in an attempt to make it more predictable and closer to the standards of other famous tournament 3D fighters.
When you try to do that (whether people agree or not it's a different story, but I'm sure we can all understand) it's kinda unavoidable for things to end up like they did.
All of this in spite of their attempts to flavour all stages with some interesting things here and there.
I get mixed feelings myself.
On one hand I miss the old style of DoA stages. On the other hand I understand what they were trying to do and frankly I doubt I would want to go back.
(I'd love remastered versions of past DoA games though. Especially a DoA2 Ultimate+ Gamma Alpha super turbo Beta, with all the new stages of the Xbox versions and the few ones missing from the PS2 Hardcore version!)

From the first two items, it looks like there is more support for destructable costumes. I would expect to see more destructable costume packs in the future.

Awesome, that's some nice UI improvements. Hopefully the SK pack did well enough for more support.
I'm still fairly suspicious though that the SK pack won't get the feature for PC given the file size.
