Well then. Assuming this turns out to be true, we will only see the new stages just for PS4 and XboxOne only, right?

Considering it's speculation, it would make sense. Although, I would think PC needs to get caught up at some point if TN is supporting it. I would highly doubt PS3/360 would see anything beyond costumes and possibly a character since it did not receive Crimson/Danger Zone.

@The Enforcer Also in favor of this rumor (far from being confirmed) has to be said that:

• Aerial Gardens is the stage most requested (and apparently they talked about the possibility to include them since before the release of Nyotengu)
• On the Gamefaq thread apparently it's said that the leaked post (that I can't see on Facebook by the way, you are able to do it?) talk about a "It's a guest from one of their series" This adds credibility because would be someone that has a model already created, again not something that requires too much work just as the Destruction Lab or the Freedom Survivor
• The recent patch notes about the recognition of the destrcutable outfits made evident as we will get more of them in future, so it's to be expected something similar.

If the rumor it's true it's interesting to notice that there are anyway 16 destructable Safari outfits, and we can be sure that these could be given only to the DoA females that currently are just 16, so:

• Or the new character is a guest from Virtua Fighter or another series where TN worked (but these wouldn't be owned by TN according to my definition);
• Or the new character come from NG and it's a male (but to release immediately a DLC male character appear to me unlikely, overall considering that I can't see some male charas really likely from NG)

But again, just now is all only a rumor, so we will see.

EDIT: However I made a mistake, I assumed that the eventual DLC will come with the eventual new character and stages... but actually the outfits could be released before the other additions, so my reasoning is not really valid. Overall because TN through Hayashi made already clear as new characters will come before on the Arcade version and later on console (just as happened for the new additions of 5U).

Although, I would think PC needs to get caught up at some point if TN is supporting it.

I hope so: sadly there is no chance for the old gen IMO, but at least the PC should be on par for stages and DLC additions

@Kronin, I agree. I know that AG has been heavily requested, but sometimes its hard to use fan popularity as a logic basis with TN since often some highly requested stuff still hasn't been added yet. (I'm looking at you, Phantom Butterfly costume)

I would suspect that Irene & Miss Monday are most requested. NG male contenders would have to be Muramasa, Yaiba... and maybe Genshin or Doku, but I don't think they would do well enough to translate into $$ even if some of them are awesome ideas.

They are passed so much months and I don't think that it's more a secret, but during a talking with Emperor TN said him that they would have liked to bring back Aerial Gardens: this happened before or after the announcement of Phase, I believe. I consider that stage a possibility since then, however far from being a certainty that it will come. But even in the past IMO TN showned to recognize the wishes of the fans, so I'm pretty sure that they surely know that people want Aerial Gardens =)

And yes, that Phantom Butterfly should be included sooner or later... I'm still amazed that they put in his place her NG1 outfit (but I'm glad for it being my favourite one )

PS: Of course the 16 safari outfits could be the pack of June.

since we are already in the area of wild speculation and "too good to be true"-rumours:
isn't TN currently developing Dissidia: Final Fantasy? Which will be released later this year?

Team NINJA is not too much big however has more internal sections working on different games. For example they worked on NGZ Yaiba (that anyway wasn't developed entirely from them) just during the development of Ultimate. Same thing with Dissidia of Final Fantasy (but anyway it's true that apparently this last work delayed the release of Last Round on PC). DoA and the NG series are actually developed from different people, even if all part of TN.

However TN already stated more times that they wish to bring more stages, characters and maybe even modes, together with DLC outfits, to DoA5LR: the support will last for much time just because they don't plan to release a new game of the DoA series really soon; this is also the reason because we got already hinted a battle royale for the 2016. So, even if this rumor was completely fake, I'm sure that after this Season Pass the next season of DLC will provide even additional contents of this kind to the DoA series (and anyway, a character announced that will be released in 3 months for the arcade, means that will come to console after 6 ones, so no one should think that we will get new content this summer or similar.).

Yes, this isn't a reliable source at all. Again I wouldn't be amazed to see really a close development of the events in future: to bring back stages or characters already realized in DoA5 or other series, together with more destructable outfits (of course non necessarily safari xD) and legacy news (as Aerial Gardens) could be a likely path to follow.

Well yes, they said that they continue to release DLC outfits just because this continue to get success between the fans (otherwise the support would have surely stopped long ago). Btw about the specific rumor now I think that the is fake me too.

Okay, if this leak should turn out to be true and the "guest character" was Tifa Lockhart, it would be one of the most crazy epic surprises in fighting game history.

I have reason to believe that a new character or stage is in the works as we speak. They'll most likely release the character or stage into Japanese arcades first before actually letting us know about it, like they did with Marie Rose and the Lorelei stage. I was also talking to @Kronin a few days ago about how they could possibly be dropping hints and teasers in the DLC trailers for an upcoming new addition. And don't forget, Tom Lee also stated in an interview somewhere that additional things beside DLC costumes and characters could be added, and he even mentioned new modes I think

Any old stages will make me happy at this point. As for characters, i love Marie and Honoka, but i've seen enough cute girls in DOA to last me a while. A teenage guy i can relate to or to put it bluntly, a new male fighter would make my day. I only main two guys: Ein and Raidou, and I'd like to add another guy on the list so it won't feel weird maining three females and having only two guys I actually use

That's understandable. Most of the new content we've received wasn't exactly jaw dropping, but the nostalgic stuff like old stages and old costumes actually cause quite a stir from everyone. But sadly, TN still is keen on making the japanese market and trends their main priority on DLC content..

In the Battle Royale manifesto you can read that the winner of the Final is guaranteed to get a partecipation to the 2016 finals:

Yes, of course I'm pretty sure that the new additions to the game are already in an early development if they are planned to be released before the end of the year =) And again, that new track from nowhere it's pretty suspicious...

If these are true and I had to guess about the new character, I would predict it be Miss Monday and she would release alongside the Destroyed Lab stage. Just seems logical, like Marie Rose and Lorelei.

I also wouldn't be surprised if they were making a DOAX3 and the character put in DOA5LR be a new character from that. If they are working on that game, then she would already have a model.
