Where's the hips? None of these really look like women :/ I remember they discovered some Juri data in the demo though...

My gut impression has been Alex, Guile, Urien, Ibuki, Juri, Balrog in that order
BUT
1 could be Urien on account of a shoulder charge
3 could be Balrog wearing his hood
6 could be Alex on account of his open hand technique and because and I don't recall seeing Balrog without boxing gloves.

What are Rose's chances ?

I know she isn't the most popular character, but story-wise she was kind of important and her playstyle is very unique.

Also, with DLCs coming, is it confirmed we won't have reeditions of the game like SF4 ?

Yes, it's confirmed. The only version of SFV we'll ever have to buy is the base game, which they will continually add to.

At this point, I think every character in the Street Fighter/Final Fight universe has a chance. They'll be adding characters to this game for years, after all.

Abel probably has a better chance than Rose since he had ties to Nash/Charlie in SFIV which weren't explained very well, but SFV will have a handful of grapplers so he may not make it. Alex (my hubby), Laura, Zangief, Mika, and birdie. Well I don't think Birdie and Laura are true grapplers, but i've never seen this many grapple type characters in one SF game.

So far characters i'm interested in are Alex, Juri, Vega, and Nash. Mostly Vega because of his drastic changes and some of the stuffed he can do that was showed off in the beta. I've always liked Nash/Charlie, more appealing than Guile. Juri is the only returning character from SFIV that I've played, and Alex was the only grapple character in the SF universe I've mained.

The slap is still there. They just tweaked the camera so that it doesn't zoom right up to her butt.
Original. New.

Same thing with Cammy's intro, which was also "adjusted." They just raised the camera slightly so that you don't get such a perfect, low-angle shot of her crotch.
Original. New.

The animations are still identical. Only the camera changed.

The split hold removal is odd though. From a certain perspective I can understand wanting to put less emphasis on the butts, but I really don't see a reason why they would bother changing the hold.

Actually, Cammy's focuses more on her crotch than her ass in the first one(which makes sense really) and R.Mika's makes no sense whatsoever.
And again, that doesn't explain Laura in general whose a walking ass shot with every one of her blatant fanservice poses...

I will rue the day when Juri becomes a playable character...

Maybe the split removal was to prevent any crotch shots as well, especially with the girls who wear skirts.
