You can look in Tokyo haha or buy a ps4 there haha

I am going to Tokyo, and I can easily buy a PS4 locally. Besides, a local ps4 will cost double the amount of money I plan on bringing.

As for the upcoming dlc, I can probably put in a bit of time the day it comes out to buy some of the suits but I would need to see the whole set first. Definitely NOT going to buy the new girl yet though.

Yet? Haha, I knew you'd get her eventually, that cat outfit was too good for you to pass up :p. I myself only have $6.20, so I plan on just getting her, I don't really care about the debut pack since she already has that pink pop idol get up I like:oops:...plus none of the DLCs she has interested me. All I want is her, and nothing more... well, except for that new Azuchi stage too XD

Like I said, I wont be able to play for over a week so spending money to buy her only to not play after seems like a waste of money. I'll likely get her just to give her a try and to have a complete roster (and as you say, I'll exclusively stick with that silly cat costume) but I honestly dont think I'll enjoy using her that much; the super flashy nature of her fighting style looks a bit too much for me.

Plus you have those strange people who act like fighting someone who customized their characters the way they liked is silly and weird, and they ask for some "option" to turn it off.
Bryan Fury with pigtails and pink fairy wings fighting Xiaoyu with a cake on her head and a magic wand that turns your character's head into a cat mascot is silly and weird. That's not up for debate. Like, at all. lol

It is, but that should be the player's choice and a form of expression. If I want to dress Lili in Gothic fashion with an eyepatch and make up(Which I will do, Gothic fashion slays) I should have that privilege. I've seen some bad customizations online in Tekken, but hey, do you is what I say. Some games like DOA just don't need it though, we have plenty of DLC that fits certain niches and fetishes for everyone.

But there's not enough cool dLC though, that's something I admit I like about Tekken customisation I can dress Asuka in tomboy clothes and make her straight up androgynous if I wanted to. I couldn't do that with DOA DLC

We have TN to think for that, they hardly ever cater to western tastes. The Casual DLC, sport DLC, and...not much else are pretty much the only ones. They seem really fixated on cute and kawaii stuff.

No if you really wanted to make them look so drastically different then you obviously didn't like the character in the first place

No, I love lili, but sometimes I want to change it up a little, you know to keep things fresh. In TTT2 I hardly ever changed the outfit colors, and I've always kept her default hair (Well, except for one, I gave her long pigtails and long jin bangs to satisfy my long hair kink), and generally just treated it like she was just wearing different clothes. Giving the characters different hair and stuff doesn't necessarily mean you don't like them, you probably just want them to look a certain type of way. Like you know how TN has been girlifying mila lately, and you want more tomboyish stuff? You still like her character, but just want to change her to how you see fit. I remember you even said that you wanted to change her hair and highlights to blue

do yall think a customization area for doa6 should happen? some people think it will mess up the dlc part of doa but i think it'll make it better. Ok ex: Every character starts with base outfits, so i was thinking each outfit can be taken apart and used to make one design. Like the shirt or Kokoro's c6(idk) and the skirt to her c7. to make an outfit. then when they release dlcs, they can just add the clothing parts for that into the customization area. so you can have like fox ears & tail (koko's halloween dlc) with like the skirt from the "playboy" dlcs and a tank top. idk. i cant explain. but i rly want to be able to customize in doa6.
All for it honestly as long as its broad, something along the lines of VF5's customization system would be good with me. That way people can make character outfits that fit their own taste rather than choosing from different themed dlc packs that eventually lose flavor over time.. I prefer character customization in fighters honestly, the possibilities of what you are able to do with outfits and items are exponential and if you ever get tired of a customized outfit, you have the option open to you to change it to something else/spruce it up. I personally get tired of seeing the same outfits after a while and not being able to do anything else with them outside of panty alterations and glasses.

Chalk me up in no costume customization camp. I'm still jaded from the TTT2/SCV/SFxT atrocities. At best I'm ok with KI 3 customization. Very little, but what little there is fits the character.

Having a clone character have some differences, I think would make for a nice "show, dont tell" storytelling element to a character; by making a clone have a different hairdo implies they're trying to make an identity of their own as opposed to being a copy of the original character. For all we know, TN is doing just that with Marie and Honoka wherein one of them (Honoka) is a clone.

I'm probably giving TN WAY too much credit to assume they're clever enough to pull such a plot twist...
Phase was fine until they took the hood off, then it just became pointless in having her in the roster.

Phase being a playable character ruined all possible mystery she could have had to me from a story perspective.
Especially after giving her such weak intros and outros. The intro with her teleporting in dead silent is the only good one imo preferably with a hooded outfit.

"Stay out of my way! D:" no
"I don't want to fight you...but I will! D:" no
"There's no time to spare... goodbye" okay-ish
"Is fighting my only reason to blah blah blah D:" worst one

I would have liked it if she never said a word until DOA6 tbh. Oh and we can't forget stuff like this ruining the character completely

There's no way to take her seriously as a thoughtful apprehensive villain anymore. You wanna stick a white bikini on someone and have them roll on the beach, whatever, but don't do it to the "I was made to kill people and I don't feel like it my whole life is pain and sadness" character

Her intros and win poses are awesome :-( They make me want to hug her and tell her it's all going to be alright. And don't get me started on her lose pose...but then again, I like the softer and angsty fighters in most fighting games I play, besides the bitchy ones.

Yeah the outfits were my main problem with her being a playable character. Its hard to take a villain even more like you said a thoughtful apprehensive one seriously when they suddenly go to the beach and roll around in a sting bikini.

I hope they go for a serious route when developing DOA6. They tried to do that during the pre-alpha days, but some bitched about it unfortunately.

This makes me realize they sort of went the moe route with her too.
