The patch isn't coming until the 17th in Japan (probably like 48-50 hours to go) and when it releases as I said before it'll release worldwide without a doubt. They haven't announced a delay yet so as of now she's still coming on thursday to the US psn

Yesss! I really hope there's no delay, but DB did ask them on Twitter about the date and they haven't mentioned one.

They almost ruined Hayabusa actually, DOA2-3 he was philosophical and had cool stuff to say, now he's all "I have no weakness" and acts/looks like the most boring generic anime ninja. And Hayate was character assassinated also, he was cool as fuck when he was Ein and he still had alot of his Ein personality in DOA3 but they changed that and turned him into the generic stoic character.

They've even managed to assinate some characters with just DLC alone, biggest examples that come to mind are Ein, Marie Rose, Helena, Leifang and Mila.

By the way you are saying that, does that mean Itagaki turned Hayabusa into a generic anime character at DOA4 and Ninja Gaiden Black on? Because I can actually agree on that.

Hayate just seems like a waste of potential in general and Ayane was pretty much turned into less of a bitch from DOA2 to DOA3 and on.

It's hard to tell what's development at times and which is assassinations.

No, I love lili, but sometimes I want to change it up a little, you know to keep things fresh. In TTT2 I hardly ever changed the outfit colors, and I've always kept her default hair (Well, except for one, I gave her long pigtails and long jin bangs to satisfy my long hair kink), and generally just treated it like she was just wearing different clothes. Giving the characters different hair and stuff doesn't necessarily mean you don't like them, you probably just want them to look a certain type of way. Like you know how TN has been girlifying mila lately, and you want more tomboyish stuff? You still like her character, but just want to change her to how you see fit. I remember you even said that you wanted to change her hair and highlights to blue

Yeah but there's a difference between changing from red dye to blue dye, and overhauling the entire design and aesthetic.

Using mila as a second example, its obvious tn and Japanese fans don't like Mila so they're trying to revamp her into another cutesy girl which is the polar opposite of her original design (evident with dlc and lr hairstyle)

Phase was fine until they took the hood off, then it just became pointless in having her in the roster.

Especially since the hood was literally the only thing differentiating her from kasumi.

Hayabusa used to actually be really badass before the ninja gaiden reboot.

Funnily enough, he's fucking terrible at his job lol. All his enemies get the jump on HIM. worst ninja ever.

He's more magic samurai than ninja really.

On dlc mila got it the worst, by far, but for Marie rose it wasn't her dlc, but her c2 that ruined her lol. Fangs just tend to be kinda stupid looking

I'm starting to think that everything for LR at this point will start being collaborations at this point, which is good idea. This will allow TN to gain favor with different game companies, and collaboration DLC basically writes itself. As far as generic DLC and themes go, they've used every popular niche and fetish in the book, so we may not see another one of those for a long time.

We thought that then still got this years Valentine's dlc.

Neither. Ninja Gaiden which came out before 2U but after 3.

After that he was slowly turned into a bit of a bitch in dead or alive.

Likely because Xtreme 3 coming out 3/24. They'd want the yen to go into that game as that is likely where the majority of future DLC will be.

So 3 straight weeks of releases? If it wasnt for the fact that I'm not getting doax3, I would have said they're spoiling us. Then again, I do plan on getting at least on DOA related thing when I go to japan next week so in the end, I am going to be spoiled with doa stuff for the next few weeks. I may even spend this thursday night trying out the new stage rather than play far cry primal all night (wont be able to play friday onwards and I dont plan on getting the new girl just yet).

So the costumes won't be in when she gets released....I'm fine with that. At least she appears to be coming on time.

I'm not a big fan of DOAD Hayabusa, he slapped Kasumi on the ground when she wanted to save her deadbeat brother Hayate. Then Hayate acts like a total dick by ignoring her and and refusing to acknowledge her when she tries to reason with him. And I especially dislike that tw@t Ayane for berating and insulting Kasumi constantly....they all need to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

I dont see why we should be judging these characters for things they do in CUTSCENES when you can do FAR WORSE things to the cast in game. Also remember that most of the tutorials for the game since 5 ultimate had us using kasumi as the default training dummy.
