If we are talking more virtua fighter characters, and you love grappling/mma/vale tudo style then I think Vanessa is a no-brainer
she even looks like a female Leon (relation?)

-not ninja but childhood friend to Mugen Tenshin and Hayabusa ninjas, & trained there temporarily
-cool bro, shotoclone, an old friend to most of DOA/NG casts (mostly the ninjas (not counting Raidou), DOATEC/MIST related (not counting Marie & Phase 4 (under new identity in sequel)), Xing Yi Quan practitioners, Armstrong family, Hitomi's family, Mila), comic book manga/video game/cartoon anime film geek, adventurer, super hero for hobby, friend to all children and nature, walking the earth, military boy, anime hair, 4th wall breaker, awe & shock, blue heroic, biker (being a fan of Kamen Rider), straight man, Victor Donovan hater (murdered his dad & involves Rig into this scheme), Japanese/Switzerland, a facial scar similar to Smash Bros logo, cybernetic implantment on his injured right arm, being Sugita's main character expies (Gintoki, Switch & Ragna, presumably being a descendant to Kiyomasa)
-CV: Tomokazu Sugita (JP); Patrick Seitz (EN)
-has code of honor about a regret of using his lethal attacks to hit female's beauty parts, the blames on him
--but can only use a certain conditions (mostly using fishnets, spank the butt, can only use his fist to smack female's upper head from above or behind)
--except against those who are purely evil/injustice from within, or has a strength & bruising attitude that truly pars with males, but respect each other
-the reason of having a code of honor was because some reasons what happened back in his childhood which had him comically abused by a certain blonde childhood female friend of his/Tina (can be considered as Kohaku (from Type Moon's Tsukihime/Melty Blood) of the series) who puts him into thigh grapple related submission moves (like armbar, leg lock, sleeper hold, headscissor & triangle hold) sexually, but clean (messing with his ball would be hell on earth), turning him into a masochist when the submission takes longer or through clean sex (kiss, hug, thigh grapple, putting face between breasts, ear bite, neck lick, cheek lick, & blood sucking through neck bite) as a guilty pleasure, particularly while wearing too revealing outfits besides skimpy bikinis makes him shy, quick face burn/steamed and quick blood puke, gives him even worst when come near wearing that outfit. The girls kissing him tightly makes him completely drunk, turning him into a Yu Narukami in his King Game mode & suddenly move its own through having the girls do clean sex on him tightly. try his best to stay out of trouble because of this problem
--This spreads through most of DOA female casts
---except Mila (tsundere & very sane how to use it for), Christie (not doing it, but fun to watch), Rachel (mostly sane & the only female he can fight due to some that made her too strong and par with male's strength + considered like a sibling instead being attracted each other & not really a girlfriend/boyfriend material), Nyotengu (sometimes, but also goes to some DOA male who is not Ryu Hayabusa) & Helena (sometimes, but sane & only watching)
---but not counting those who are truly evil like a mindless female monsters (such as Alpha-152 & some mindless clones (safe for Phase 4 whose under his care))
---while for the rest like Lisa (whose married some of new protagonist's friend, but sometimes uses only submission moves on comically torturing protagonist), Ayane, Lei Fang & Hitomi are only attract to some DOA males

It's a Japanese fighting game and cute girl characters would sell more than those dudes you mentioned (maybe minus Raiden).
Also you do know not every or even half of Arcana Heart are cutesy right? And majority aren't loli either, nor are any at all in DOA.

I've said it once already - Itagaki would NEVER allow moe anime girls in DoA. I play DoA from 1 on PSX, and there never were any of this kind of a character. It just don't fit well.
It does however in games like Arcana Heart.
Also remember that this is no 'deep analysis of market potential on what character would show up in next dlc" threat.
It's about what character I would like to see. So, of course, it's just my humble selfishly subjective preferences.

Anyways I wouldnt mind if DOA got to adopt my girl Kamikirimusi since Soul Caliber isn't doing anything with her.

Yeah don't really want anymore DLC characters TN doesn't care about variety when it comes to $$$. In the past 6 DLC characters released, 5 are female and 5 are Japanese. It's not very inspiring...
