Yeah she's only getting two outfits

That quite lazy of them. Combine this with having only 3 characters for the crossover costumes, I guess TN was really restricted with what they were allowed to do with the crossover in general. I'm guessing Mai will never get any dlc costumes in future passes.

Yeah they were pretty overall just lazy, you'd think that'd it be just as much if not less effort to recolor an outfit a few times than just copy paste outfits. For what it's worth, her debut set is really good, all her outfits stand out, like her cheerleader outfit has stiletto heels(along with her other ones) and her maid outfit has a nice gold decal and even a see through skirt section the other girls didn't get.

What?? I like stiletto heels XD. I don't really like her maid one, Christmas one and nurse one tho, I prefer her cheerleader one mainly because of those heels on her uncovered legs and the exposed stomach.♡ But I might just wing it tho and get them all since they all have the same stiletto heels, just recolored.(I gotta stop saying "tho" ~_~) And yeah @SoftCabbage, she's still $6. XD

For all we know, she may cost more with the excuse being that TN put in more effort to balance her. I still plan to buy her even if she doesnt have much content as far as costumes go, though. At least I didnt buy the pass, with the crossover pack having so few costumes, it seems like a major ripoff.

I think the nurse one is my favorite of the debut set, I love pastel pink with white and it'll tag well with Kasumi's nurse. Plus I like that retro nurse outfit design. The bunny and nurse are the standouts for me. With the cheerleader I like the colors but I can't bring myself to like that design on any character. The maid is alright and the santa one is obviously boring but the tails help zhoosh it up a little and it's festive

As I said before, they may take the route of other fighters from the past (Capcom's Alpha 1 and 2 for example) where random is enabled when you go off the character list. When you select Hayabusa, you go left and random should appear (vice versa with Hayate instead of immediately going to the opposite end of characters.)

Who knows really, but the method of the old way is much simpler to do.

Maybe they can add in a large random box in the middle of the character select options, kinda like in doa4 story mode where Helena's character select was larger than the others and was in the middle?

You can see that at the very beginning of the Mai gameplay video (0:00), where the console version it's shown (there's no training mode in the arcade one)
When they switch to the aracade version, random is enabled by pressing "start".

Will they put in some indication that this can be done? I can imagine newcomers accidentally selecting random by accident if this was their solution. It does sound like it can work though (and probably carry over to future games).

Indications.... what do you mean? They're already there. (otherwise no one could be able to figure this out xD)
In the console version they added the square button (random select) next to the circle (back) and the X (ok) ones under the character portraits. Instead, in the arcade version, there's a small info box that reads "random select with the start button".
I don't think newcomers would have problems like this xD

I know some people who are so unfamiliar with game controllers that they have to keep looking at the buttons just to know which of the 4 face buttons theyre pressing, its totally possible for them to accidentally select random

That gif!♡ Idk why but that "get festive" quote makes me think of Pave' from Animal Crossing. XD The nurse I'm still thinking about, I do really like the pink they went with and the dress suits her fighting stance vey well. I know the one I won't be getting is the Christmas one, it makes her chest kinda look top heavy like they didn't properly scale her bust size. She's actually supposed to be less busty than Kasumi is.

Just saw it earlier, she looks great! I hope no one minds but I sent it to the media section so that everyone can get a good look at her. From what I see she's a monster damage wise, and I love her appearance, her second intro pose is everything♡ Eight more days...

I still can't believe that damage tho, she did 1/4 of a lifebar in damage within the first couple seconds of the match. 0_0 And it's nice to see her in all her glory without any stream particles and lag in the way.

It landed on CH. Just about 70% of the roster can do that much if it lands on CH towards a generator. (Well, except Ein lol)

Will she have an English speaking voice? Or will she only speak Japanese like Akira and Pai? I can't wait for the 13th, DLC for this game, Bioshock Collection, Dead Rising Remaster, and Pac Man Championship Edition 2.

Also this is probably too soon to ask, but any idea when the Halloween DLC will release next month?
