Is the game slightly slower?

All because of a damn controller. Wow, hope Xbox puts in a decent D-Pad next generation, because that's pretty ridiculous they lose fighting games because of a controller. Jeez they need to fix that.
Are you sure its not because this game might sell better on the PS3 and due to fact that PS3 has greatly out sold the 360 in japan. Also remember im pretty sure it was Itagaki that preferred the 360 not necessarily TN. Either way both versions will probably be virtually identical.

I don't find the Xbox D-Pad all that bad, but yeah. As I mentioned before, Itagaki seemed to favor the Xbox, and Hayashi the PS3.

It's more likely to be as Brute stated about the two heads preferring the different platforms. But I also know that from the development side of things, it's much easier to take something built on the PS3 and optimize it for the 360 than it is the other way around. The PS3 tends to make a mess of things dealing with 360 code. Makes sense to do for a fighting game if you want to have more time available for making balance changes instead of optimizing the run of your build.

It's: "capital letters."
"Capitol" refers to government institutions.
Yeah, I know, I realized it right after I hit reply, but I decided against editing to show that I can mistakes as well. I'm still semi-surprised anyone on this site caught it though.

I do a lot of political work, which is why capitol came to me, rather than capital.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Xbox 360 generally run better, while the PS3 has better graphics. The differences in both fields are insignificant though, I imagine.

The 360 runs better in the sense that it's more flexible/easier to dedicate tasks to each individual core as well as having double the ram of the PS3. I remember during the development of ME3, the devs said they couldn't run holstered and unholstered actions at the same time during missions and could only use one or the other because the PS3 didn't have enough memory for it. And yeah, the PS3 can produce much improved graphics over the 360. I'd say it has some issues with dropping frames and slowdown however. Shouldn't matter much though, devs seem to know how to optimize performance well enough that any differences between versions are usually negligible and unimportant.

Yeah, that's about what I thought. Thanks.
