I mean don't get me wrong I like both xD Sophitia I love more since she's a mother bear and fights to protect her children, and she is... Or WAS devoted to the gods but due to her children being threatened she had to protect the evil sword... Plus her hair is way longer xD Cassandra I like because she relies on her own strength and she's the epitome of a valley girl which makes her seem down to earth, plus I love her more violent attacks and how she's pretty much like myself except I identify as a valley boy XD that and her dress style is much more modern and less traditional than Sophitia who dresses like a Greek goddess while Cassandra dresses like either a typical town girl or warrior princess

Now Sophitia isn't a mother so she's really no longer a milf, so I'm hoping now she'll be more level and energetic since starting in SC3, she became more monotone, but then again she is a mother so I can understand that travelling the world in search of the evil sword isn't the same anymore as when she was younger and didn't have offspring. Cassandra is my age(:oops:) so her personality is still more youthful and energetic and inexperienced since she's basically a young adult taking up arms so her sister won't have to start from her children again. But style wise her move set is basically just a more aggressive version of Sophitia with all these extra unneeded repels and wavedashes while Sophitia has a more simple, more straightforward kit which I prefer

Oh yeah I forgot It's gone back to before Sophie had kids...Milf status = gone. Wonder how much they'll change the story and If she'll have kids in the new timeline? It will be interesting to see what she's like now then and how she is with Cassandra. Speaking of which personally the first ever character I played as in SC was Cassandra and that on top of just preferring her personality and other stuff I'd say I like Cassandra more. And yeah I do love her Valley girl attitude. :p ( I hope Cassandra does make it into this game )

Also I want some kinda confirmation on If the characters are going to get alternate outfits or not, I'm really hoping they are.

Based on what you just said, I've now got the impression she's a mere old baker with no MILF status to fall back on. Now I really wish they tweaked the new timeline so that Cassandra would've sought out to destroy the Fugly Tekken Sword instead of Sophitia.

Oh lmao I didn't mean it like that! XD I just mean't that now she doesn't have that whole mother looking for the kids thing going on anymore, And then I was just wondering If her story will go in a similar direction again with her having kids and them being kidnapped by Tira. I'd be cool If she doesn't have Pat and Prhy..however you spell it in this timeline and stays more to adventuring to destroy the sword for different reasons.

If Sophitia doesn't have kids, Tira will just find a Joker lookalike the devs will create out of nowhere to flirt with...

That's unfortunate. Cassandra has more of a warrior's spirit (and a low-key knowledge of femdom) than Sophitia. She had all the means of being an easy replacement. But I guess the series needed a token MILF similar to Jun Kazama, so Sophitia was spared the axe... for now.
MILF lives matter :p

She was engaged by a drunk Hephaestus who thought it was a good idea to let a random chick with no real knack for fighting in the first place to track down and destroy a sword many other bloodthirsty warriors may or may not want...

THEN she engaged to Rothion.

Good thing her weapons do the fighting for her XD I mean yeah the kicks and stuff are all her but I find it neat that the weapons use her as a catalyst to attack unlike Cassandra who just does all that stabbing amd stuff herself xD

Looks like Critical Edge are now one button now? Also, Guard Impact has a larger window, but I have a feeling that it might be toned down in the next build.
Was talking with Crow about that before he wrote the article. They're basically the most problematic thing alongside how bad Reversal Edge seems to be. As he wrote down, it does seem that turtling and just waiting to react once you see something on screen with the super can be pretty viable. That said, it does seem that Namco wants them to be strong.

Reversal Edge right now seems pointless thanks to GIs being so good. Their other problem is the risk involved in the RPS mechanic, with Crow's example of an "unearned" win at pixel health, since the person who REd (at 25%) guessed wrong at RPS.

I mean yeah but DOA centers around the hold system xD Soul Calibur has that guard impact thing which I feel is like DOA, I love that element since you get advantage from a good guess anf it forces the opponent to either do a GI themselves or to prep for a throw or something else. The reversal edge imo isn't really needed, and if it is featured it should be a one time thing so I don't see it twice or thrice or 100× in one online set if you see what I mean XD

How is the game so far compared to the previous games? I hear previous games had CH for moving around.
Apparently, it still has. I've been seeing run counters here and there. Soul Calibur II has the least threatening run counters because you don't get stunned when you get hit while sidestepping and sidewalking. You only get counter damage but no stun. The game started to become more stun heavy in Soul Calibur III which also introduced stun chain combos. Some stuns can be shaken off but you have a very short window to input the stun escape.
