I hope they give Eliot maybe his old DOA4 costume back if they do give him a new costume or maybe a new hairstyle or something xD Phase 4 not having a new costume I'm fine with although this costume should be her new default imo, it's her best non collab costume imo but idk if theyre gonna use old fan design costumes as DOA6 costumes

Your quote for some reason looks wonky on my phone xD and big tits doesn't necessarily mean they will be tropey imo, just look at Anna Williams and Ryona and Kolin xD I also hope they show Lisa next since the game atm is missing a bitchy haughty girl, and I'm sure the girl won't be anything like Honoka xD you just have to remain optimistic of the best things to come

I love big breasts, a lot of characters I love have big breasts. But you just know that in a DOA game after 4 it's just a sign of another otaku bait anime stereotype girl coming.
I also can't stay optimistic with TN's ridiculous PR shit and them shifting from WE R LE SERIOUS E-SPORTZ to LOOK AT THIS KASUMI AND AYANE DAKIMAKURA OF THEM RIGHT BEFORE YOU FUCK THEM~~~.

I'm tired of this crap. I'm tired of seeing female characters humiliated and put in pathetic merch like this preorder bs, or devs constantly pushing the limit of the amount of clothing they wear. I'm tired of TN giving priority to sexual fanservice over coolness and action. We are going to get more years of titty bounce streams and soft engines, and then maybe a DOA softcore porn game that lets you molest the girls (they are not above that), all of this crossing over with the fighting games.

Despite DOA6 seemingly being less sexy than I'd like it to at first, I was expecting them to reach a happy medium and keep the exaggerated fanservice and other crap to DOAX. I was expecting to see sexy characters who acted and looked cool and were not ready to spread their ass for owner-san.
But no, not only we have ridiculously overpriced preorder versions that give you DLC characters solely made for fanservice, they also come with merch with art that looks like it came out of a H-game. The things to come are more 100$ season passes full of cash grab poorly made outfits bought by pathetic losers who can't fap unless they empty their wallet over pixel tits, more ridiculous, lazily-made fanservice DLC characters, and maybe even the Venus Vacation sluts.

I don't care if I sound like some wacky SJW whiny bitch. I'm just tired of this. I'm tired of DOA always going a step further into going full bishoujo game. I'm tired of them not giving a shit about male characters (MORE copy pasted bodies for the guys and no belly buttons lmao!). I'm tired of seeing Ayane weak and humiliated when she should be spinning around ninpo-ing bitches while looking sexy and cool. I did not come to DOA for this, and I don't care if I sound ridiculous for not liking this direction cuz "shez not real lmao".

Not to mention, all of this mixed with bruises and blood? Expect MORE ryona creeps.

I'm still looking forward to playing the game. A lot of it looks great. But this soured my mood, and the fandom (outside of FSD) sours it even further. And TN? So sour over their shit I could make lemonade.

Phase 4 isn't soley made for fanservice tho, neither is Nyotengu, her design is fanservicey but she's also a way to implement Tengu's updated moveset into the game. And you're not being a bitch or whiny at all imo, you're just looking into it way too deep, especially with that bit I put in multiple parenthesis, the people who buy DOA's DLC aren't "pathetic losers", and anyone can fap without spending money. I know with me I just buy DLC I like as I'm sure everyone else does.

The males also are getting attention, just not in the preorder stuff, and they don't have copy paste bodies, the only characters who have their torsos showing are Rig and Diego when his shirt comes off and their bodies don't look alike, they have no navels but that's it. And I think the merchandise is more aimed at the Japanese audience, If you watch the JP trailer they have the merchandise at the end but the English trailer leaves it out as far as I know.

So in the quick part showing Honoka's actual gameplay that is straight up Lisa/La Mariposa's air throw. Right? That should be a good sign to @Jadeinchains for Lisa's return. I don't think Honoka would have characters moves if they were cut.

It's funny because he's been saying that... yet it's never been shown at all in the English Trailer and that stuff hasn't been even given an English version for a LONG time.

DOAX3 doesn't even get marketed in the West, neither has Venus Vacation let alone those mousepads. I never seen them even remotely get marketed to the West past seeing the Japanese trailers.

Hayabusiness is a lady tho xD(An interesting one too I may add) but yeah I don't think the marketing is a big deal.

It's like that soft engine in LR, it was heavily promoted on the Japanese site and in Famitsu and stuff but you wouldn't even know it existed because the western site had no mention of it at all besides maybe this cheap sleazy video they made with no sound to basically show that the boobs have more bounce and collision xD

I suppose so. I like Ayane, Kasumi, Tina, Marie Hoe, Rachel and Helena out of the girls. Even though I don’t main Ayane the psychic knife suits her. But of course my main Leifang.

You are acting like I wasn't in that era of DOA5... I was there too and I remember that video and that INSANE PUSH. But again, most of that was Japanese side included... and unfortunately, we have to get that along with the typical DOA news which didn't help matters at all because people can't differentiate different marketing worth shit.

My point is that it's primarily only focused on the Japanese side as I never seen them try and market those pads in the West unless it's a Youtube video. Most of their ridiculous shit was never marketed to the West period, which while people can act ridiculous about it, you still have to search for the Japanese equivalent to even see that meaning they are knowing the difference of what audience they are marketing towards.

Hmm it seems they are in that space between the fans that want more fanservice and the fans that want less. the same kind of thing happened with DOA5 with them saying it was toned down at first only for it to have lots of fanservice in game so I'm not totally surprised by the merch etc. However I will say I didn't expect the new female character to be teased via a boob mousepad, That's an obvious difference from how they brought in the new girl of doa5. ( mila ) Still I'm hyped for DoA6 regardless and some merch doesn't lower that hype at all even If I'm not a big fan of the merch itself.

PS: The "the fanservice is gone" complainers were already complete jokes but If they try to continue saying anything now they are literally delusional.

It's understandable they don"t do this kind of marketing in the US, but there is a chance this kind of laughable risqué content will seep into the main game in one way or another. (DLC or main game) since the Japanese and Asian market are important to TN.

If TN did not have a terrible track record and were transparent about their game like MARVELOUS with Senran Kagura, I wouldn't be half as worried as I am now.

Also, this is all speculation, but...
With the internet, changes between JP and US get discovered and outed quickly. If TN made changes to the US version to fit their marketing and desired image, you bet it's going to be messy. I hope nothing of the like happens, though.

I like what they are doing with Hitomi's casual costume. Some of her costumes are very similar (her C2 from DOA5, C4/C5 from DOA4, C3 from DOA3).
So recolors are a good way to cover these and pay a tribute to her past wardrobe, because honestly we don't need all of them. A green version matching her C2 from DOA5 is enough.

Same for her bear skirts in DOA5LR : the red/black, white/beige..

Her selection would be pretty simple : karate gi (1), new casual (2), jeans jacket (3), bear skirt (4), and steampunk casual (5).
That's it. 5 costumes is pretty good since we'd have 25 characters. It's pretty ambitious actually.
