I hope there is a violence options along with the other options we expect. Also, could it be possible the face animation changes depending on how beat up your character is in that current fight?

TN shared these screens of the Unforgettable stage on Twitter:

In the last image we see the glass dome and a similar perspective that was visible in the screen that many people thought was DOATEC Hongkong. So I was right it was a museum and that it reused parts of older stages but was entirely new. :)

On the screens the stage looks kinda nice...in the trailer not so much. They'll have to tweek the lighting until release a little more, make shadows darker. It'll give the stage more depth and atmosphere.

It probably was a mistake on my end, when I was about to reply to you it said "new messages appeared" at the bottom and I clicked to see what new messages there were and I saw that message with the slash so maybe it was just an error xD

And I think that's the aim with the toning down, I think they'll still look in pain but it'll be less intense in comparison to how the guys grimace. I kinda felt it was getting toned down anyway since in Nico's trailer when Bayman socked her, she had a relaxed face too, but I thought it was because she was a kuudere initially and her showing a lack of emotion
Because only males are allowed to suffer. Must love these modern times...

Cynical sarcasm aside, agree that TN must make the game like they want it, rather than trying to cater to everyone. It has been a plague lately, where games lose character because they are focusing on making people that don't play games happy, rather than a good product.
That being said, options to tone them up or down doesn't hurt anyone. But they must be equal for the guys and girls. It's idiotic to have the guys looking like they're really being punched, while the girls look like they're having an orgasm.

I think if they don't make it adjustable they'll give certain characters that face since everyone makes a different face in different situations. It would be kinda repetitive and silly if all the girls and men made the exact same intense grimace face when struck. I know they did that in Soul Calibur where some characters had more intense faces when hit/Koed and characters like Sophitia keep this more calm relaxed expression.

I love how you call Hot Zone a Call of Duty stage and then proceed to say it wasn't memorable... because of that I guess. Disagreed.
you mean the way i remembered that stage enough to call it by a different and recognizable name? oh well

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Macca Beam. All he's ever done since DOA6's announcement was talk shit about it.
nah, while i talked shit about it (and for good reason), i never said anything about skin textures.

alas, nobody would want to have such amateur mistakes like flickering shadows carried all the way to the final product. and i'm sure any developer would appreciate constructive criticism instead of sweeping every issue under the rug with an apathetic "u did good".

They fixed it in the Jurassic Park (I know it has some other name, lol) stage. It had very pixelated, flickering shadow maps on the giant eggs and slide. In the latest PS4 version footage that was fixed.
If they fixed it there I am sure they are fixing it in other stages as well.

In this video they turned off blood and excess violence. Maybe when there is blood, the facial effects correspond to that.
Is excess violence a feature that affects faces? And i would hope it doesn't work that way because I mean what if there's people who don't want blood and bruises but want full face effects and vice versa where people want blood and bruises but don't want the full face effects? XD

This is why they shouldn't be making changes like that since it becomes way too complicated to compensate at release, but if they don't make a feature to restore it the PC modders will probably find a way to do it themselves anyway

The issue here is that TN is ALWAYS listening to feedback everywhere, even if it is trolls acting like they're being feminists or actual people whining about seeing certain things. With DOA6 - aesthetically TN seems to be trying to please everyone, but doing this and making changes here and there to graphics and now facial expressions is bound to piss people off. We need some 4K gameplay videos.
