What do you think of the current requirements of DOA6 and what are you using to run on it? Laptop? Desktop? Sound off in the comments below!

I've heard some people say they are too steep, and I've heard other people say they are right where they should be. It doesn't matter; it looks better than console no matter what.

what the hell? Win 10 only, I'm still using win7 here  . They're kidding, right? . Can somebody confirm this ?

My sentiments exactly. But I'm sure it's because they didn't develop on Win10 so can't officially "support" it. Either way, I guess I'll have to wait a bit more.

Not too bad, 8700 (without ''K'' in the name) is around performance level of 6700k/7700k so it's not that bad as some people suggest, I wonder if it will really require Windows 10 (I doubt that) as it's DX11 only game and not DX12 so no real need for Windows 10..
Also I hope modding is possible like in DOA5! ;)

I think the requirements aren't too heavy. In a fighting game it's crucial that the frametimes aren't all over the place so it's ok. Since DOA6 is not a DirectX12 game it could potentially run on Win7, but if it's not optimised it could run like cr*p or even crash.

Does anyone know at what time on March 1st the game will be available?

For a fighting game with those visuals / graphics I'd say the requirements are quite demanding. Let's be honest, the game looks a little bit better than DOA5 and that's it.

In FGs the polygonal count is not THAT great, the AI processes aren't super demanding, the environments aren't open worlds, etc. My point is that this kind of game rarely demands a powerful CPU. With an enough powerful single thread it should be ok. These genre needs more GPU than CPU. Asking for minimum an Intel i5 which is 4 Cores / 4 threads seems like they're just hiding poor optimization. Some devs and publishers tend to do so.

Soul Calibur VI or Tekken 7 can be run at 1080p ultra preset at 60fps all times (a must in FGs, mind you) with a modest setup like Intel G4560 (it's a friggin dual core pentium with 4 threads), 8GB Ram, GTX 960 / GTX 1050ti / RX 570. I even dare to say those games look technically on par or even better than DOA6 in some aspects.

Oooohhh... rrriiiight...

You'll never take my Windows 7 except from my cold dead mouse hand!!!

Everyone said that about XP too lol. You gotta upgrade eventually. Honestly I hate 7 now. I have 10 at home and deal with 7 at work. You're reminded of how much of a resource hog 7 really was.

Ya, the game runs perfectly fine and I dunno what that website was on about. Maybe there was an issue with the press build, but I've been playing for a few hours and my CPU sits at like 30% usage and GPU around 40% and I don't see any signs of memory leaks.

Yeah no poblems here either after playing a couple of hours. Didn't notice any weird cpu peaks or memory issues.
