The CM of that account better start searching for a new job bc you don't come for one of the most hostile playerbases in FGC like that and expect them to not ruin your product's image lmao (and DOA6 didn't have a good one as it was). Still hilarious, love the salty Tekken players replying to it.

Harada could have easily laugh at them when they were thrown out of EVO, he could have pointed them when they released DOA6 without lobbies, he can even call them out for having broken stages, insane input delay and bugs everywhere. Instead he supported them when the Core Values situation.

If there's some kind of clash there's no way they will win the fight they have started because why not. Most times I wonder if they are even thinking.

Charging for frame data is pretty bad and Tekken fans should be rightfully upset. Glad DOA doesn't do that. That said, DOA6 is picking a fight where it's own players largely agrees with the other side's points...DOA has so many valid criticisms that can be thrown back that it's ridiculous. DOA should substantially improve their own product before they start picking fights about DLC pricing and content.

They have some nerve to do this when at least Harada promised to fix Tekken 7 input delay and they did it. 8 months after DOA6 release we're still waiting for at least a word about this ... but we all know this won't be fixed.

Team Ninja never interacts with their community but they have time to do this instead addressing their own messed up game.

Nice job guys, this instead fixing your game will bring more people to play the game for sure. It's not like it's already free but no one wants to play it, not even a veteran DOA player like Rikuto. Rikuto leaving DOA is like Knee leaving Tekken but they don't care.

"Your game is flawed, so you can't advertise the features you got right or jestfully chide others for things they did wrong, even when both points are unrelated to the flaws of your game."

No wonder KT doesn't listen to you people and your inane drivel.

I just think it shows that many at people on this forum are just negative people. I get being upset about DOA6 and the DLC pricing it’s lack of DLC for the men, but lately they do one thing and immediately it’s the end of the world and it becomes highly dramatized. If you don’t like this game and only want to be negative about it. This isn’t going to be DOA4 anymore. Those days are long gone and well over.

Also: like its been stated before, TN doesn’t really call the shots.

It's nice to know TN still has the balls to step up to Bamco like that. Those salty Tekken stan replies made my Hump Day worth living. And either way, they should be happy TN voiced that something like Frame Data should be free in the first place.

Drop that mic (for once) TN!

While I do agree that Namco charging for frame data was inexcusable and should be ridiculed, KT still needs to consider its own product. There are still several things wrong with DOA6 that haven’t been fixed or can’t be excused.

I think it’s a rather hypocritical and risky move of KT to criticize Tekken 7’s frame data dlc when they too were guilty of outrageous microtransactions in the past.

On the other hand, I was amused by the reactions of Tekken’s fanbase.

Elliot would’ve totally rocked that wizard outfit.

Just more missed opportunities on Team Ninja’s part.
thank you for this. This is what i have been saying, i honestly blame the fandom for this. For ignoring males, it is becoming unbearable and something needs to be done about it.

What mistakes? There's no mistake here, only business decisions. If male outfits sold well they'd make more of them. Clearly that is not the case. Like it or not, you're the minority on that issue.
and people like you are the problem. Quick to dismiss people who voice out, you are only concerned with yours alone. I hope you lots wouldn't be the downfall of the franchise.

How is he dismissing tho? XD he's being realistic, male costumes aren't selling well, if they were they would make more of them and they tried during the beginning packs of the game. I want male costumes in too like how the girls have but it's not going to happen unless somehow the male costume sales go up significantly. That's just a fact, plus you have to remember what franchise this is. Even when Itagaki was behind the game, the males always were lacking in outfits compared to the girls who got more and extra stuff in the games

Finally got the chance to check the game out for the first time in days and after installing the new update, the game is allowing me to "unlock" the DLC costumes with that new premium ticket thing but the PlayStation store still allows me the option to buy costumes individually. I guess they added the premium ticket mechanic for all territories for consistency but still let Asians buy individually if we want.

Then I just tried to purchase a ticket to see the price and its currently unavailable  .

It's not inane by any means. If TN/KT did far more things wrong than they did right, it can only be used against them. As soon as the convo gets shifted from "Tekken is price-gouging its users for frame data" to "DOA price-gouges its users in even dumber ways and is worse off than Tekken in a number of other metrics", what do you think is going to happen?

I'm entertained by it all though, so they can have fun. It very well might get a few more eyes on the game, especially since there's a free version.

DOA has its issues, we don’t deny that. But that doesn’t mean that KT can’t shade Tekken for charging money for important fundamentals.

The only thing people have on DOA when it’s about DLC is that the seasonpass is expensive, but that’s it. But if you do the math it is cheaper than buying the costume packs and costumes separately. SP has 54 costumes + character with a debut costume set. One costume is $1.99. If you do that times 54 you already pay $108 and if we add the character with debut set we’re already on $130. So the seasonpass is cheap in a sense. I think the seasonpass is made for people that want all costumes for all characters.

Still, even with KT being scummy they only sell cosmetics as DLC, they don’t let people pay for frame data. What Tekken did was honestly a new low for fighting games.
