Oh yeahhhh, the fact that her sitdown stun doesn't interact with the wall could set up for some nasty shit! I'm ready lol.

Does anybody know what a half hit is? Does it mean that if you end any combo with her little foot poke move instead of it being a solid 10 or 12 hit combo it means the combo will be 10.5 or 12.5 hits? If thats the case, wtf Team Ninja
Her sit down stuns not interacting with the walls is pretty useless. She only gets between +13 and +15 meaning the only attacks that will connect are 9K or 3P. I'd rather they just hit the wall so we can go straight for guaranteed damage seeing as none of her sit down stuns offer any where near enough to land a CB. Now they either hit the wall on the next hit or get a free guess before we can land a guaranteed wall combo. This alteration was made so characters could land new combo's near the wall but Helena doesn't really benefit from this change.

Half hit means at tip range the hit does half damage.

Well, I wasn't expecting much anyway. Happy to see a new CB and that she still has her forced tech.

If the low kick or low punch barely hits the opponent then it does half the damage. And Helena's sit down stuns suck anyways, they don't guarantee much.

How so? I noticed it could be teched in some instances.
You can tech up right away now.

66K FT MIGHT be gone now. I was trying to do it on the new patch and I was only able to get it off of one setup so far. I need to test it more though.

If (drop) vertical kicks can't be tech rolled does that mean BT 4PK is a guaranteed FT on airborne opponents?

By vertical kicks I think they're referring to moves like Mila's 3H+K and Lisa's 6H+K, where they cause knock down and even with recovery set to on the AI will lay there for a good bit.

Strange they would feel the need to change anything then seeing as they already stopped the opponent from teching.

Sidesteps are 100% more useful and the fact that Helena has two of the best moves from SS at her disposal is a major buff.

Lower health makes her damage output very dangerous.

Her new CB allows her to CB in 3 hits.

For example 66p, 9p2k, 6P+K CB. Can be done anywhere.

I'm a bit of a horrible player, but let me see if I'm understanding this correctly:

1) they made some of her moves safer
2) they secretly nerfed her pseudo force tech (I think False Force Tech or False Tech sound better....)
3) They reduced stun on some of her moves
4) Added a new critical burst

Also, is her new CB a high, mid, or low?

1) All her open palm moves are safe now. So a big buff in safety. Which is going to matter because this netcode is now good enough to punish unsafe moves. Old Helena would have been fucked here.

2) Somewhat, you can tech faster, but you're still required to tech. Need to know the new frame advantage off of it.

3) Not really, no.

4) CB is a mid punch of course.
