The time period doesn't really matter to me. Ryu has always been one sexy beast from the beginning.

Ryu is a man's man, and always looks good as he changes with the time. NG3 look? Probably my least favorite look; but the bulkier look transitioned beautifully in DOA5.

I missed that outfit as well, kinda stinks it was only in NGO and not Black,would like to see its return, as well as this one.

If for NGO you means Ninja Gaiden Original, I think that you are wrong: this outfit is from Ninja Gaiden II (not Sigma version), like you can see in this image from the NG wikia article about: http://ninjagaiden.wikia.com/wiki/Costumes?file=Ng2costumes.jpg

Ninja Gaiden Original had 4 outfit: the purple (later become blue) Haybausa' outfit from the NES era, the "Black falcon", the "Ninja of the future" (the white "star wars one" cited in the section) and the "Fiend curse", that I never seen but should be is just an alteration of the skin and the eyes of Ryu during the entire game and not just after the the death of Doku' spirit.

it was interesting my friend pointed out to me that his fiend costume is actually a Black Spider costume.

Sorry you are right, for some reasons I remembered that the classic was used also during the "training session"... anyway it's strange that the oufit wasn't available for being chosen.

Again right, reading the NG wikia I've seen that I was wrong: in NG the purple training outfit was usable, the NES one was included in Black (and in all the Doa games after DOA2U)

i walked in on an acquaintance of mine playing NG3 the other day he was stuck on a boss so i decided to help.its been forever since ive played so i though maybe when i first played it i over reacted...yeah it was horrible even worse than i remembered Ryu moved like a brick.the difference between NG3 and RE is like day and chocolate.

I ask this here non knowing where to do it: it's allowed the use of the gauntlet during the completion of one of the weapons achievments of NGII? I talk about the ones where you have to complete the game just using one weapon.

What guantlet? You can use all projectile weapons but no main weapons. If you have to press X or y to use it then it's not allowed. You can have them equipped though.
