I wouldn't mind it as long as we got a bigger area to fight in. I liked the stage I just didn't like how limited the space felt. I'd like to start from the top like in the original and drop your way down. That'd be awesome. Knocking people through rails and stuff that's on fire and everything just falling and colliding around.

This will almost definitely be a disc-based release. Since new characters are going to be in the whole cast will need to be re-balanced and, while they could include the updates for balance in DLC, they'd have to release a compatibility patch to avoid splitting the online playerbase. Patches, in case you did not know, are not free on either platform (after the first, generally).

I have no problem dropping another $40 on an updated version of our game complete with new stages and characters. After the effort TN put in to update Razor's Edge for 360 and PS3 I have a ton of confidence that the package will be worth paying to get in a second time. The bonus? DoA5 was already a pretty fun game and much improved over DoA4. With Razor's Edge they took a game that was...well, not very good at all and turned it into an incredibly good Ninja Gaiden game (and top shelf action game in general).

Let's start focusing on the fact that you just need to put aside about $15 a month to pick it up starting now, if the early summer release pans out. I think we can all handle it and unless some of you are scraping by paycheck to paycheck to feed a family I don't want to hear whining about "the principle!" of it all either. I know money can be tight for a lot of us, but we're talking about a tiny amount of money saved per month here, even if it was a full priced release.

I come back for just a second and what do I see? Can't say I'm not surprised as every fighting game does it these days, but it's nice to see all the same.

Also not surprised to see yet another ninja... at least Rachel would have given us a more varied style of play. Well I'm pretty sure she's not the only character addition. This looks interesting but it needs Ein to hook me. If I see him I'm sold.

More characters and stages... sweet! As much fun as DOA5 was, it was getting a little stale for me. This will definitely breathe more life into the game. Can't wait for more details to emerge... I'm both excited and curious to learn what else they added/changed in terms of gameplay.

I've never played a NG game aside from the 3RE demo, so when I saw that stage that's the very first thing that popped into my mind. I'll take your word on that then.

Hard to say for sure. Likely will get left out of the festivities if it's not DLC. Maybe an updated release, though. Most of the ground work is there.
