This game needs... Bozo the Ninja!

I think I'll actually work on finishing this now and send it to Team Ninja again. I'm thinking red and white polka dots and puffy pants. Yay or nay? =P
Ha ha... That's gonna have to be a no...

I kinda want customization stuff beyond hat/coat accessories to be absent from DOA. Makes everything look like a cluttered mess. Tired of fighting clowns in other games.

What about the clowns in this game?

Maybe customization isn't such a bad idea.

VF5FS had the most awesome customization ever, it made the game 10 times more interesting. I wasn't a fan of TTT2's though, no matter what items/hair you used the character usually ended up ugly... SC5 was somewhere between the two.

I think if TN does it it'll definitely be up there with VF5FS. We're kind of halfway there in vanilla DOA5, I think they were testing the waters with all those palette swaps (cheerleaders, santas, etc) and glasses. Generally you see those generic costumes and items in customization mode

No, it depends on nothing. I agree Final Showdown's one can be very nice and to be honest, the majority of the people from here like Allan Paris and Wah and from VFDC I played made some pretty amazing customizations like a geisha costume for Aoi or a schoolgirl one for Eileen but most of the random idiots I fought in ranked have clowns, Sarah looking like a cheap prostitute or close-to-naked versions of the male fighters. It's not funny and it's very annoying.

SC4, 5 and TTT2 are even worse because more people play those games. One of the most disgusting things visually about DOA5 are Zack and Hitomi's clown costumes and I literally refuse to play when someone decides to use them against me. Having a customization option for DOA5 beyond maaaaybe colors would be extremely lame and would kill the game.

I like the customization in those games but I always wonder who wants the clown nose or Afro hair weird stuff? I think if they only have us cool options then we wouldn't see clowns online

Put in customization Team Ninja. ^ Ignore this guy.
If he were less cynical and self-righteous, I'd respect his opinion a lot more myself. Not everyone wants to dress their character as slutty or as fucked up as possible, and it sure as hell isn't everyone's definition of what's "cool". Personally I wouldn't dwell on it, still play the game, and have a good laugh while I'm at it. As long as the customized outfits don't mess with the character's weight class or hitbox in any way, I can deal with anyone's fashion sense anyday.

Be that as it may, Blaze I don't blame TRI Mike for his fears and doubts. As much as I would like this feature to happen, Team Ninja's just not yet in a position where they can get away with using such a time-consuming feature, given its fragile reputation among outsiders. And in a time frame this small between now and DOA5U's target window release, it's best saved for DOA6, if they even plan to do one at all. But if they do this feature, they should tread carefully with their resources.

Don't you think Team NINJA would fill the girl's items entirely of micro bikinis and other whorish stuff for the 90% of the public to use¿
But didn't this already happen? Or were the bikinis, school uniforms, waitress-outfits, short-skirted santa costumes and catsuits just a figment of my imagination?

not a big fan of customization ...
I like the ready made costumes ...

just look at soul calibur 5... all the original outfits look 100 times better than customizations. granted they are fun to make and recreate some characters with .. but still no matter how good .. they would always look inferior ...

The VF5FS customization on the other hand was a little more limited and structured.. hence .. despite the limitations .. it actually looked better ..

If they plan to make customizations .. I would like it to be with the limitations of the VF5FS system ...

Especially considering the distracting shit you can make in soul calibur 5 ... kills the mood of the fight altogether..

Well, SC5 gets a pass because the customization options are really it's only redeeming feature. DOA5 has great graphics, gameplay, etc.

lol

>Implying SC5 doesn't have amazing graphics
Correct.

SC5 has wretched gameplay and the same horrid-looking graphics they had back in 4. Unless you like it when skin glows like a lava-lamp and hair looks like tin foil.
