I'm fine with DOA2U Tengu's game plan as well, but I'd still prefer that he be more interesting than that. As long as he's back though, I'm happy. I just hope he doesn't suck again.
Does Subway even play DOA5? If so, who does he main now?

He did if he does now I don't know. He plays Bass which is funny cause his first sub was Zack. He later made Bass his Sub in 4 later on in 4. So now he mains Bass kinda funny there's 2 Tengu users in FL you and Subway.
Oh, he's down here too? We all must be really scattered throughout the state since nothing happens here.
And yeah, that is funny that out of maybe ten total people in this state that play DOA, we manage to have two of the very few Tengu players in existence.

Was looking at Tengu's DOA4 move data and it's pretty funny... his i12 grab does 68 damage, Kasumi's does 62. I wonder where they would take Tengu if he's in 5U. Do they buff the grab damage, the combo damage, or give him lots of guaranteed stuff? If he's a copy/paste job he's doomed
Something else I found funny, right now Tengu's in second place in this gfaq poll, only trailing Rachel... Where were these Tengu supporters in DOA4, I only played Subway and maybe one other guy

Tina and Bass' 2nd strongest grab is 68 in 5 keeping his 68 is fine. They need to buff dmg and guaranteed stuff.

Subway and AtomicStarfish are the only 2 worth mentioning. Everyone else sucked I mained him at one point. I got a couple thousand matches with him. I didn't stick with him though.
Hes been playing since 2U he had that team up until 4......

idk 68 seems low to me, he's not even human... I think it'd be interesting if they made him a true grappler though. No worrying about juggles, just use the new mid-air T・41236T... or land the sumo stomp and enjoy your guaranteed ground throw
I actually would like that make him a grappler. Tina gets +28 of some of her 4P+K I believe. So implementing that sumo stomp is feasible. Just as long as they make the damage worth a damn. Giving him air grabs worth using would be nice too. That would remedy having to worry ceiling messing up the dive bomb and just air grab instead.

Same she swings a giant weapon around that would translate into her being another slow grappler. I just want Tengu back too.

Don't forget that Pai and Gen-Fu's portraits didn't appear until you unlocked them in DOA5. Tengu is still possible.

Its looking extremely grim so I want to think that. I'll stay hopeful til everything is announced.
All characters are unlocked in this one via purchasing them individually, or all unlocked at once via buying a full copy of the game. I highly doubt there are going to be any additional slots, especially when they're already using two randoms.
