    Core Fighters and the digital full version interact in strange ways with the save data. That's all I can really say for sure on it, but I'm guessing Cores data is overriding the other version's.

    bah. I don't care for actively trying to unlock them, but its still annoying for it to not give me trophies for stuff I've already done.

    Between force techs, holds, backing up, crushes, and blocking, I still don't understand complaining about wakeups.

    Well... They're not impossible to defend against, you just need an attack with lots of Active frames.

    But if you dont know what youre doing wake up kicks can be the most annoying thing in the world. What would nice is if you can do fake wake up kicks.

    That I don't know. I'm sure you'll be able to buy characters individually. As for costumes, you've been able to download them individually in the past. I don't see why that wouldn't happen here. Can't give you any hard facts though.

    just so you know, 8P+K P+K, 3H+K and 3P+K K can ALL be blocked and punished. you can even low OH 3H+K

    You just don't know how to deal with her. I main her now and get my ass kicked all the time. Keep her at range. Some of her more dangerous attacks work better at range, but then you know what's coming, because that's all she has at range. And for the love of god, don't wiff, because she wiff punishes like a tank at range.

    If you've played a high level player before, they can hold even more than the AI holds. Another strategy is to let the AI lead the attack so that they can't "hold" you and to get an idea how it plays.

    Right, but if the AI decides to hold, which it understands as the right thing to do, naturally, i'm cool with that. However, the AI's choice to hold mid or high when it does (not spamming, mixing it relatively well, etc) and it still guesses? It's obviously designed to read inputs, not react to the attributes of moves

    Keeping the red meter glow on the new greenblue health bars is ugly. Shoulda changed the meter glow to blue or green.

    I really need to branch out from Mila and Leon, lol. Learn some others, but I can't find one I like.

    Tina is similar to Leon, yet so different. If you don't mind is slut attitude, is very recommended.

    Actually trying to learn tina. Been playing characters with "straight" attacks for so many years, its taking a while to adjust to characters who don't fight like that.

    Marie Rose doesn't have any official merch yet either. I think her only 'merch' is like stuff that comes with the game package.

    it's shame I really like Mila and I think all characters should be equally given the same amount of merch and DLC

    This is a follow up to the post I just did lol: I agree that the mods will be an adjustment but I hope that anyone who is modding DOA5LR on the PC will put in more creativity than TN has put in with their DLC. I'm willing to hear suggestions -- feel free to message me if you have a particular mod in mind (Mila blue hair? ;) ) or anything like that.

    I just wanted to reassure you. I'm not *that* kind of a modder ;). Cosplay is the bane of modding and should stay in Illusion-soft games. For real tho, if you want something in the game modified just let me know. I'm not making any promises but I'll do my best! :)

    Appreciate it. I'll off course want my costume, but i wasn't kidding before, right now my goal is to have ALL the contest costumes made, to respect the efforts of the people who worked on them. Even the terrible ones lol.

    Honestly, the FGC always goes "how can we improve the community", but just making vids and saying "go offline" doesn't really help when the FGC is still seen as a bunch of ignorant elitist assholes that nobody wants to be associated with.

    Of course, if you don't have to, don't do it. I always tell people to play in a way that works for them. If people like to stun > launch with her that's completely fine, as long as they understand that it's not the only way. Which is probably your point.

    But honestly another issue is that they are saying "use combos instead of spamming grabs" because they don't understand that Mila ISN'T spamming grabs, she's just taking advantage of the fact that EVERYTHING, from grabs to hold to combos to knockdowns to stuns to feints to juggles, EVERYTHING sets up the Mount. Its the backbone of her entire moveset. They can't wrap their heads around that.

    I´m totally agree with you in the Itagaki thread. DOA5 may be better at gameplay(because more guaranteed things, I hate Power blows) But it doesn't feel a DOA game. And DOA4 was hella fun. I can play this game for hours and can't get bored while with DOA5 is the opposite.
