*New Switches are going to have a longer battery life* That's cool and all but the coolest thing would be a "Pro" version to the Switch, probably wouldn't be too hard to make them either.
Even though Arc System Works make great games, I have to say that they could handle the character roster of their games better these days: BBTag could've had many guest characters, to the point where it could've been the Smash of Anime (fgs), yet there are only 5, team RBWY and only 1 from Arcana Heart and Kill la Kill: IF only has 10 characters at start, with 2 being dual-wielding forms of the protags.
This Steam Grand Prix thing is so rigged now its not even funny....which makes sense since everyone jumped into team Corgi when people saw them winning easily over the rest of the competition. Still, overall the 5th place team ended up 1st in the fourth race, and the 1st place team ended up 5th now, 2nd place team ends up being 4th, its just so bad.
Games that I hope will make it to Steam one day: Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Tekken Tag Tournament HD, DOA1-4, Ratchet trilogy and Spiderman (unlikely, I know, still, Sunset Overdrive is on PC), any Naughty Dog game (Uncharted or Jak mainly though).
Random opinion about KT games: The only KT games that have a decent story is Nights of Azure 1&2 (maybe Blue Reflection as well? Haven't played it yet) and pre-DOA6 DOA.
Wow, Xbox's E3 was a bit underwhelming. The two big things about it were Keanu in Cyberpunk and PSO2, the rest was ok but not mindblowing. Sony and Nintendo can potentially outperform Xbox relatively easy. We'll see soon what they can bring to the table.
Yo, KH3 Re:Mind DLC having playable Riku, Aqua and my boy Roxas, Mai and Kula trailers for DOA6 and they look sick and the juicy E3 trailers of many, many games? What a time to be alive.
There's only one thing Sony needs to do in order to make Playstation the best out of all consoles thus beating Nintendo and Xbox: PS5 (when it gets announced) backwards compatible with PS1-4 games. We know that the PS5 will be backwards compatible with ps4 games but if they end up making all of the older Playstation console games compatible, then that would be a huge selling point for it imo.
I actually like that there are a few players that play the older fighting games in the series (like TMM's Tekken X revisited videos) and they even do analysis videos on them, despite them streaming the newest entry in their beloved fighting game franchise most of the times. Makes me realize just how much of a history fighting games have already and the legacy that they're going to leave behind.
Now that DOA6 has been released for quite some time, I'm curious to see what game will KT announce next. The games we know that they're currently making are Persona 5 Warriors and Nioh 2, outside of those two they don't have anything huge announced right now. My guesses are that they'll either make SW5, or DW10 or Blue Reflection 2 or Nights of Azure 3.....or Ninja Gaiden 4.....one man can hope I guess.
What a week and we're just halfway through it. MK11 and DOA6 both seem to be having it rough right now. Let me remind you though, that all fighting games are expensive nowadays with the product being unfinished when it is released or its single player mode is as tedius as it can possibly get and feels more like a mobile/F2P game at times, just like most "AAA" games. Gaming will soon be a luxury in a person's life.
Frost looks cool. She's like a fantasy mix/fusion of her original/human form from the original timeline with Pulsefire Riven. Definitely going to play with her once I get the game.
Apparently MK11 will have alternate endings according to Ed Boon, unless if by alternate endings he refers to the arcade/tower endings. Although, if time travel is involved, then the possibilities are limitless, you can have the good guys or the bad guys winning this time, so I wouldn't be surprised if story mode would have more endings.
It would seem that DOA yet again started/starts a trend when it comes to fighting games. First it was the stage transitions, now it seems that a couple of fighting games (namely Dissidia FF and DB:Xenoverse 2) are going to have (is having in FF's case) a F2P version of the game. That's actually not bad, I sort of wish that every fighting game would have a F2P version of itself.
