    EVO has never been 3D fighter friendly. While 3D fighters have appeared on the main stage, they usually had the lowest entries. 2D fighters are simpler to pick up, flashier, and easier to watch for casuals on streams. Unless you understand why things are happening in a 3D fighter, watching them isn't as exciting.

    2D fighters simpler..? Having less moves does not make a game simpler. Guilty gear > doa in terms of which is a more technical fighter 2d fighters are way more consistent where a 3d allows for random variables which don't always allow for a match to come down to skill and sometimes just luck.

    There's a non-DOA media classification in the media section for a reason, and if someone had a fish named after a movie character that became crippled, which made them feel sad or however, I'd be happy to listen.

    That would be surprising but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Vanilla 5 got an expansion less than a year ago and 5U is still currently getting new content in balance patches and not only costume DLC but new characters and even more in the works according to TN itself.

    I wouldn't hold my breath or even take one for a DOA6 any time soon. Even announced.

    yeah what zeo said, a little far fetched, i hope we receive a re-release of doa3 in the future though. i dont think theyd incorporate the new characters, though, no mo :(

    TN's not scheduled to be at E3. Doesn't rule out independent announcements on their sites or twitter though I suppose

    It really sucks if they're not porting DOA5UA to XBONE. I think they could really take advantage of the netcode utilizing cloud services. At the same time, I can also understand why make it a PS4 exclusive. They can port core fighters to the PS4 and expand the DOA fan base seeing that next gen consoles really don't have any fighters at them moment.
