    Very true... no CF version, so every player on Xbox is... "invested." But from my experiences, online functionality on Xbox is quite a bit less stable than it is on PS3.

    I guess - I'm just not used to sitting back in fighting games. I may not be the most aggressive player, but I don't run away. Maybe I'll throw in some taunts if they do that... >_>

    Stealth I 100% agree with you... now, I have met ayanes who are patient, decisive, and confident. They are comfortable in close quarters because they understand that she has enough crushes and stuns to trump most other characters in the roster. Zoning is fine --- but when your approach relies almost entirely on it, your ayane is not impressing me at all...

    I feel like even though I've gotten into game franchises well after they were started - like Ninja Gaiden - I can still call myself a fan.

    I've really only started playing fighters somewhat recently. MK9 almost a year ago, and DOA at the start of this year. Had my 360 since 2009/2010 and just got my PS3 at the end of last year. I play TPSs, FPSs, stealth games, RPGs, and more, and both consoles are going to have exclusives I want. It's tough. Long reply to a short statement...

    Yeah. I pay attention to them, too (and attend them). Doesn't make me an authority on game mechanics. Hell, I've played people at tournaments who are basically noobs. You're good at the game if you can beat other good players, and you're knowledgeable about the game if you KNOW about it, you STUDY it, and you APPLY that information into the meta-game.

    And that's it.

    I'm watching replays I've saved and it seems that I'm better with holds when using Bayman, compared to any other character. (contd.)

    I think it's because out of the characters I use, his playstyle relies on holds the most, so maybe I pay more attention to getting it right. If it's not right, that's worse than of I get it wrong with another character because I need that damage.
