    I think I'm improving with Ryu every day. Thinking of new combos, not messing up as many Izunas... progress with +1000 matches after a month

    959 Solo and 78 Tag with Ryu. I have 188 total for Rig and 154 total for Jann Lee too... I had like over a week in January to do nothing.

    Finished NGB a couple of days ago - I don't think I failed any boss battle more than one time. Going to have to play on hard next time.

    Today was my worst day on DOA5U since I started a month ago. I'm not going to play it again until I finish NGB. Hopefully I'll be less salty

    I've lost so many matches today. Only tell me I'm good once I'm good compared to *everyone*, not other beginners. That's what I strive for.

    I'm not happy with the fact that there are so many more people who are better than me. And not by just a little. Honestly, I probably won't be happy until I can get decent win streaks in lobbies regularly. Not just in lobbies with beginners.

    As an Ayane main, I cannot describe how infuriating online Ayanes are to fight. Hayabusa and Hayate seem equally aggravating. If you encounter a disrespectful player, just ignore them or leave, because you'll want to punch a wall instead.

    lol yeah Gen fu has more good crushes than Jann does and Gen Fu has a vortex as well which makes him insane.

    I was going to make Lei Fang my secondary but changed my mind and using Gen Fu as my secondary. Will use Lei Fang as my 3rd though.

    Today I figured out (not researched) 63 ways to set up a critical burst with Rig. I'm not going to try to think of more - already too much!

    I know a lot more CB setups with Rig compared to Ryu, but my Ryu is still probably better than my Rig.

    But yes, I'm trying to make Rig my main. I'm definitely using Rig as a main right now - using him in most of my matches - but he's probably not better than my Busa yet.

    Figured out too many critical burst setups with Rig in training mode today to be able to remember them all during a match. What a pain.. lol

    Just memorize the last few strikes and their lead-ins, since your offense should be changing up constantly anyway. One thing to be cautious of though: a TON of Rig's potential CBs are shakable with stagger escaping, and that can mess you up big time in a match. Hopefully you set stagger escape to fastest when testing your set-ups.

    I've created 25 CB setups so far today. I have them typed, organized in groups - like there may be only 1 difference between certain combos, so I group them together. That helps me remember the lead-ins that are the same. Still a bit overwhelming, but I'm practicing.

    I'm kind of impressed with my Rig after only using him for half of a day. I think I want to make him my main, with Hayabusa as my secondary.

    I still love Ryu! Rig's attacks are a bit faster, though, so I can deal with dreaded aggressive opponents a bit more easily. I've already come up with some of my own decent combos for Rig.

    Mostly, when I lose I'm not mad. But when I lose my longest ranked W streak (11) to a character I dislike (Sarah) I can type nasty things =/
