Finally a brand new design contest is happening, The first of hopefully many to come for DOA6. I thought it was probably for the best to create a brand new thread specifically for people to be able to share and post there designs and WIP If people would like to rather than potentially flooding the TN social media thread with designs lol.

and while I don't have any brand new designs sketched or anything right now since it was pretty short notice I suppose I'll post some of my previous designs that I'm resubmitting in this contest that I did in previous years contests. (: Looking forward to what everyone comes up with and good luck, Hopefully some people from the site will be winners and we'll be seeing their designs become dlc!

Thank you for creating this thread @Jadeinchains I hope this time around more people will design great costumes for the characters. I also hope that we’ll see amazing designs that people submitted but unfortunately didn’t make the game.

Those look nice!<3 I'll share my submissions oncr I get the ok from @axouel2009 so I can ask him to watermark them first so he's credited!

You definitely should! (: And I'm excited to see what people manage to come up with once more time passes and people have time to start completing new designs, Especially since we've now got a general contest rather than a specific theme like Halloween.

It depends, they usually pick one for everyone but the rules on the Japanese site said that winners not shown still can appear in future packs so they'll probably retain costumes so more people feel included

I think If I remember correctly Its like every character will obviously have one outfit chosen as the outfit they are getting from the design contest as a dlc outfit, Out of those chosen ( one for each character ) The TN team will choose 10 or so I think that they think are the best and they will be the winners and the rest are runners-up ( but are still basically winners really since even if they don't get the physical prizes they are still getting their design in the game )

that's at least how I remember it being in past years so we'll see.

If someone can design a new DJ outfit for Zack, I would love to see it created, submitted and even luckily chosen to be in the game later because I still can't believe Zack has not got one in DOA6, despite his career is still a DJ.

Maybe this would make TN to pick such outfit for the game, instead of waiting for them to make one.

Surprised I'm not already seeing more costume designs in here. I'd guess there have been posted some on Twitter as well by now?
Also, why are you guys putting your designs in spoilers? When I scroll down the page I'd like to see the designs without having to look for spoilers to click first. @Jadeinchains @SaihateDYNAMO

Oh I just put them in spoilers cause I'd gotten used to with other threads putting my images in spoilers but yeah people feel free to post designs without spoilers If you want.

Fair enough to that too. :p I'm fine either way, I had thought of that as well though and was part of me putting mine in spoilers. Really I don't mind though however people choose to present their images, If people would like to post them in spoilers they can if it would help out with the page not jumping around.

Guys... in what year are we living that people are still afraid of some images openly visible on a thread page? Other design contest threads like 5 years ago also had designs openly visible. Most of the pics are also not high resolution, so they are neither very large in image size nor file size.
Going by costume design threads in the past there won't also be that many images on a page. Most posts were actually discussion posts. It's not like the photography thread in which almost every post has like 3 or more HD or even 4K images.
If this thread becomes some pages longer it will also be a pain in the ass to find designs in it again. Some of us occasionally go back to look for a specific design to talk about it again. Sometimes years afterwards. We'd have to comb through every page and every spoiler.
Last but not least, as far as I know putting images in quotes also does not improve loading. They are still loaded when you open that page, fully visible or not.

Not the type of loading I'm talking about. For example, if one day you load to the most recent post maybe halfway down the screen, because all of the images may not have loaded yet, the page may suddenly jump up or down while you're in the middle of reading something. Sometimes the browser may snap you back to where you're supposed to be after the page has fully loaded, but sometimes it may not. It can get annoying quickly if that's going to happen every single time you come back to thread.

In the event where there are a whole bunch of unhidden images on a page, it also becomes a pain to scroll past posts quickly if needed. I agree that that one only really becomes an issue if the page is chock-full of them, though. But the year has nothing to do with any of this.

If finding the designs later is a problem, perhaps you can ask @Jadeinchains to compile or link to anything new added in the opening post.

Of course, none of y'all have to listen to a damn word that I've said. Do what you want.
