The input lag, lack of lobbies, visual issues, story animations, and other little things like the lack of costumes for males. DOA6 feels really cheap/lazy when it is compared to the 2 other 3D fighters. SFV would have been my first SF game but it's launch was bad so I never bought it. MvCI would have been my first MvC game but that game looks bad so I never bought it.
Yeah. And the only people who are willing to stick around until it gets sorted out are the people who are really into the game. No newcomer is going to wait for fixes when they have no attachment to the game. Well, at least I didn't for SFV and MvCI.
What I wouldnt give to be in the loop on what is actually going on over at TN. Should we feel for them or is most of this actual oversight or incompetence
@Brute That is true but DOA added more issues to the list which just makes it an easier target for people to jump on. And when it comes to SC and Tekken they both can get away with things other games can't so there is no helping that.
I'm with Brute - almost every major fighting game IP is in a bad way at the moment, and I'd say that's more indicative of their publisher's attitude towards the genre as a business model, than it is the quality of the developers or the brands in question.
They'll sort 6 out. Probably before the originally planned release date, at that, lol.
