Edit: I just rewatched it and it was never confirmed that they were locked in the FT10. They were, however, locked to their character and variation in the BO5 and PL switched in round 13.
I wouldn't pay $100 in general for coaching or tips on games, especially for fighting games. Maybe if you really like a game but can't get into it at all I guess, but $100 seems way too steep for the idea.
Heavy physical sports tips or improving one's lifestyle however is different (imo).
He's a clown because he has a massive ego and a disproportionate sense of self-importance. Part of that was probably reinforced because he won EVO all the time ago.
He lost 13-0 because he's so far disconnected from reality that he couldn't just accept the obvious reality that he's no longer top dog and that Fox could wreck his shit any time under any circumstance.
Jwongg did that and stopped because he knew people at some point learn from experience.
